VariZoomStealthy Monopod (Black)

Great product for the price - note that these are not meant to be the ultimate monopod solution - but they will get you out of a jam. Nice to have.

It arrived directly from Varizoom defective with no apparent quality control. It has two twist-locks that are used to extend the poles but they were both stuck. It's made of very cheap plastic, and I doubt very much if if would last beyond a shoot or two.

This is Tom from VariZoom:This post is to explain how this monopod works as there has been understandable confusion. In the picture you will see my hands in the position necessary to tighten and un-tighten monopod. At first look you might think you would hold the knob to tighten and un-tighten and you can but if you are holding the knob and the same tube that it is affixed it will not move. If you hold the knob and the smaller tube it will easily lock and release.In the picture you will see you must hold two different tubes.Sorry for the confusion.
