Rust oleum, dry erase
Product is very easy to mix. Very easy to apply to the wall on top of a nice primer but once it dried waiting, we waited seven days cause kids were away. The dry erase does not wipe off the wall. We even bought a dry erase spray. It took some of it off.Thank-you,And sorry. 🥲

Excellent on doors
This dry erase paint lets you turn any wall into a dry erase board. There were some reviews about the date and expiration issues. I went to Home Depot to purchase so I could check the date after reading reviews. Unfortunately, the date is not easy to discern from the box. There were different labels on each box at Home Depot,I couldn't figure out what the numbers meant in terms of an actual expiration date, and it was more expensive. I purchased in Home Depot on my Amazon App on my phone. The paint comes in 2 cans. When you combine them, there is a slight odor, but way less than a regular can of latex paint. Combined, the liquid filled about 2/3 of the quart can. I was able to cover the back of two doors in my mudroom with the liquid using a regular roller. I put about three coats on the doors, waiting about 10 minutes in between each coat. I let it dry overnight. The next morning, it was dry and I was able to put magnets back on both metal doors without issues. You then wait about 3 days before writing on it with a normal dry erase pen. When the writing stays on for a few days, it is a bit more difficult to wipe off, but a little water washes it totally clean. It is a great product and has been very helpful in managing our home since I can leave notes on the door with reminders as we walk out the door.Note: If I were to do this again, I think I would have put a fresh coat of pain underneath this dry erase paint. The bit of sheen it makes points out any pre-existing flaws in the existing paint.

Fantastic product, make sure you use it RIGHT
It's the $24 knockoff of the $125 product. That's why I bought it. Knowing that it's cheaper, make sure you do a few things that will save your sutface.1) Use a foam brush/roller to apply or else you'll never get a smooth coat and paintbrush bristles will come off and be trapped under the coat forever.2) once you mix it, you've got an hour and a half to get at least 2 coats on. Once the first coat is on, wait until it's dried from milky white to almost clear before you put the next coat on.3) DO NOT SAND IT. I test sanded a small portion in an attempt to get it even but it doesn't hold marker now, which I kind of expected but I thought I would try it.4) make sure you do a test patch and let it dry until it clears, because it has happened in other reviews that Amazon ships older than 2 years old products, and it'll dry yellowed if it's old. My activator was from 2014, but the base was 2019, and it seemed to work perfectly fine5) once it's coated, have a box fan set up and blowing directly on it and it will cut the effective drying time from 3 days to 24 hours

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!
The ONLY reason I was only able to give it 4 stars, was because it was clear (which I wanted) - but it was more challenging than expected to get all the coverage I wanted. It was "enough" to cover the entire area, BUT I missed a couple spots right in the middle, but did not realize it until we were writing on the wall, and now have two big spots that are stained and will not clean up. :(But that is technically an operator error. It was just a little harder to work with than expected for making sure to cover the area desired. BUT THE PRODUCT ITSELF WORKED GREAT! WE ALL LOVE "The Wall"! :)
