Soft hand, beautiful color
I love this yarn! I chose the color Glacier Bay, a lovely teal blue with a purple strand running through it, giving it an iridescent look. The yarn is soft and fine. I disagree with the package labeling, which recommends a 9 knitting needle to achieve 4 stitches per inch. A 9 will give you a meshy look. I used a 7 for ribbing and an 8 for the main body. It is not dense and has a nice drape. Perfect for a soft, cozy sweater. I will be buying other colors! For my sweater, I calculated that I would need 2 packages of 3 skeins each.

yes. so far very nice. 1st skein though
so far surprisingly good. a beautiful color and soft texture. started a shawl. knits up well. i thought it would be a bit thicker. i hoped a size 10 needle would work but that is too big. i am using a 7 and it is ok

Beautiful yarn
This Heartland yarn is soft, fluffy, and beautiful to work with. It does not cling to itself, so frogging is not a problem. I have used it before, so I know that garments made with this yarn hold up very well. The yarn is a thick 4 weight, substantial and well-suited for cardigan or jacket sweaters. This particular color is a soft grey, with some slight variegation to a darker grey. I love that each yarn color is named for the national parks in the United States. I used some of this yarn to make a souvenir afghan for a friend, with the colors from every national park she has visited. They are all beautiful.

Warmth, Softness, Acrylic .
MY third year knitting 300 + caps for various organizations that help the less fortunate, & for out of door workers & deer hunters. All love the all Acrylic yarn. It works the best on Rotary knitter, softness, tangle free,& RARELY a dropped stitch.

Gorgeous, a little fussy
Stunningly beautiful yarns in this collection - a little tweedy, very earth-toned colors. Despite saying it is "4" worsted weight, it feels thinner. It's a little fussy and fuzzy - not terrible, but also not the easiest to get started with. I recommend sizing up a hook and working a looser pattern to avoid splitting.
