Product Description Salty Dog Hand Cooked Potato Crisps seasoned with jalapeno flavour. It's the extra love and care that they lavish upon the pedigree potatoes that allows them to stand out from the crowd. It is believed that a pampered potato is a happy potato, so every spud has a relaxing rubdown before being diligently dunked in soothing sunflower oil with its jacket left on. Available in 40 g bag. Delicious, thick, crunchy, well seasoned and amazing flavour
The sweet chilli crisps I bought back in November didn't last long enough to worry about any BBE dates and I can't remember what the date was now, other than it was very acceptable.As for the crisps, they are probably the best rendition of sweet chilli any of my family have come across. They were also thick cut, crunchy, delicious, with heavy seasoning and a generously sized bag. The taste with skin-on spuds was in fact fabulous, much nicer than other skin-on brands we've tried. Hence, they didn't last very long and they were all eaten too quickly by the gannets living here.The only downside is the price, as they obviously aren't the cheapest crisps. But they are a lovely treat and I'll no doubt buy them again.

Great crisps, ok value, but beware of the sell by date.
Great crisps. Strong flavour. Very salt and vinegary.What a shame the subscribe and save distributor/seller is trying to shift old products. Our box of 30 arrived on the 25th and the use by date on the box was 30th. 5 days to eat 30 packs. Whoever is trying to get away with this kind of food distribution should be ashamed.Lucky that Amazon customer service is so good and fully refunded us with just one call. They also said they’d be removing the product from further sales.

Short best before date and taste off already
Arrived 31 dec and best before date is 22 feb. Thought we would have at least 3 months to eat them by. Problem is they already taste stale and not as crunchy and tasty as normal. Amazon storage problem or poor manufacturing perhaps?Either way i wont be ordering them again and i hope to return them.

What happened to the flavour
Purchased these as we have them regularly at our local pub, however, extremely disappointed so far as we have only had 3 packets and everyone was tasteless, no essence of salt and vinegar at all. Love them generally, but dubious about buying again even though they were good value for money.

Crisps tasty. Best before not so good
Very tasty with a nice subtle mustard hit. Would of given more stars if my box of crisps best by date wasnt a week after they arrived. So ended up throwing some away.

THEE Crisps :)
Honestly, I have bought about 7 boxes of these over the months. Best crisps I have ever eaten. Better than the big brand names. I won't buy any others now. Salt & Vinegar are my favourite. The Steak ones are really good too.

Great flavour and great crunch
I really enjoyed these. One request would be can salty dog do beef and mustard flavour (now that Brannigans has sadly gone under). Would definitely try them!!

There's literally no vinegar in these crisps
I've had Salty Dog crisps before. Love them usually. This batch is faulty, they're ready salted crisps, not S&VThe only trace of vinegar is if you lick the bottom of the bag and there's a little hint. The mix/ingredients haven't been added correctly.Sorry to bear bad news!
