This would be a great suit if they had just left out the weird, long, baggy, foam cup shelf bra thing. It’s ridiculous. It looks terrible, is non functional, and is uncomfortable. I’ve swam competitively since I was a young teen and I’ve never seen anything like this is a lap suit. I can’t belive that to get a larger size that will fit while I’m pregnant (maternity suits are not good for serious swimming) I have to deal with a company assuming I want ‘support’ (it doesn’t support anything) and soft cup shapers. I cut out the entire shelf bra part. Now it’s a good suit except for the leftover thick seams and some raggedy edges. Come on speedo, just make the same suit you make in small sizes a bit bigger.

So I did a lot of research before I bought this suit, and I chose it because in the reviews it was consistent that if you bought one size up from your normal, it would work. So I held my breath and took a chance. I'm usually between a size 18-20, so I bought a 22 bathing suit. It's perfect! It's really comfortable, and I feel like I have freedom to move without having to adjust my bathing suit a million times while swimming. As for supporting/holding the girls, it does what it needs to do. I don't have high expectations because it's a bathing suit - not a bra - and for this I am satisfied. I also love the racerback, it gives full range of motion in my shoulders and it doesn't go low enough that I am self-conscious about it. It's as flattering as it can be on a plus size girl! I wear the suit for swimming exercise, laps and stuff, but I'm taking it with me to Florida when we go cave diving too. It's a winner. I'm buying this suit in a second color!

This is the best swimsuit I have EVER owned. I am a regular swimmer of at least 3 times per week, and this suit is holding up very well. My favorite part about this suit is that it stays in place when swimming laps. Several of my other Speedo suits are cut too small in the armpit area, so my "girls" tend to feel like they are floating out the sides. I also love that this suit comes up a bit higher on the chest so the "girls" feel nice and secure and not pop out the top. The leg openings are the right proportion for the suit size, and they come down low enough to cover my butt appropriately...again an issue I have had with previous Speedo swimsuits. The suit stays place when getting out of the pool, so no need to continually adjust your suit to recover your rear. I will admit that the cups for the bra area are not in the right place(too low), but it does not impact the quality and fit of this suit. I am going to order a few more of this suit just to make sure I will have color options. GREAT FIT! It is also much cheaper to order through Amazon than to try and purchase in store.

I’m a long-time swimmer, 5 days a week in a chlorine pool. Speedo is the only suit I wear. The Endurancesuit can last a full year when properlycared for. This suit has great coverageand is easy to pull on/take off. In thewater it conforms to your body withno gaps, scoops, or drag. It maintainsits color and the lining and shelf bra stay in place comfortably. SpeedoEndurance is the only suit I swim inand I’ve swum the length of thecontinental U.S. and am on my wayback again. (Make sure you thoroughly soak yourself in your suit with fresh water before getting intoa chlorine pool. This is also essentialfor your skin and hair. Shower up!)Finally, whenever you buy a swimsuit,always buy one size up from your current dress size and you won’t be disappointed by the fit. Wow. This swimsuit makes all the difference from a "fun" swimsuit to a "serious" swimsuit if you are doing laps. I have just started swimming for exercise, I am a large size 18 (larger on top than bottom) son ordered the regular XL. (Didn't get the larger sizes per previous reviews.) Everything said was accurate. Minimal support of breasts, but I expected that. However the cross back is perfect for lap swimming as now I don't have the other bathing suit rubbing under my armpits. (I admit I am self conscious of the back-fat that is more visible w/ this cross back suit, but that's the purpose...to get more healthy!) All in all feels amazing which makes swimming for exercise more enjoyable. Once again Speedo rocks! (Brand new to me, so no insight into longevity, chlorine repellant, etc...but expect more than adequate wear.) Thank you Speedo!

I read a lot of the reviews of this product before deciding to buy this, as I wanted something that had a proper fit and would be durable for water exercise and lap swimming. After using this for a few months now, I can report I am quite pleased on all fronts. I went with my size at the time and the fit was fine - snug as one would expect - but being a large busted woman it is not designed to hold up the girls like a bra would but offers adequate support to allow for athletic movement in the water. I am in a chlorine pool 5 days a week with this, and have not experienced any fading or deterioration of the materials. At the rate I am going on suit usage and weight loss, I am going to need a smaller size before I wear out the product. I purchased this exact suit in a size smaller and am starting to wear that one now, and the durability and fit of the suit is consistent with this one. The pricing on Amazon was more competitive than other sources I found, so will probably keep buying this suit as my weight goes down. I see other women at the pool who also wear this suit, seems to be a popular product. Definitely recommend.

I am a fit PLUS SIZE lady and am 59 years old. I am straight figured, not pear shaped with a bubble butt as people have described me. I don't have a waist to speak of but rather straight up and down from under my arms to the top of my legs. I have very small breasts but am 38" round my chest. I normally would wear a size 18 in Canada but after reading the reviews I ordered one size larger and ordered the size 20. I found the SPEEDO to fit very well way all around .....the cups are a little large but are made of softer material so they flatten out nicely to fit my breast. If I had one complaint it would be the butt on the bathing suit is a little large with the elastic around the leg sagging ever so slightly {as I am not wide across my butt, but rather have a butt that sticks out behind me}. The suit is made of nice thick quality material that hugs your ever curve, even with the razor back style I find it easy to get into and out of. It stands up well in the chlorine waters, as a soak it in a solution once done swimming and hang to dry. All my other suits to this point haven't lasted a month after daily use. I am very pleased with my purchase as it arrived as promised and was exactly what I was looking for. I will be purchasing another one or two as I like to have spares.

Speedo needs to make bigger sizes. There are very active swimmers who are beyond the size 24 cut-off. That said, the swimsuit fits (even though it's a tad small) and has ample room in the midsection. The chest area fits, but because the suit is a tad small, it sits low on me and requires pretty frequent adjustment. Despite all of that, this suit is the only one I've found that doesn't slip off or threaten to fall down when I'm doing laps in the pool and in the ocean. Worth the annoyances to know I'll be held in place for my daily swim.

I am 5'7" 38C (approx 41 inch across the bust), 34 waist and 43 hips. I ordered a 12 and a 14. The 12 fit perfect on my bust and waist and a little snug on the hips. Not overly tight though. The 14 fit, but felt loose up top and I could tell that when it got wet, it would likely sag and droop all over, so I ended up going with the 12 as I think it will loosen up a little once wet and once I've worn it a few times, as swimsuits usually do. I bought for lap swimming and aqua fit and don't expect any issues with it. I love the modest cut because high cut bottoms are not flattering on me. This suit is comfortable and I will work well for what I need it for.

Fit is perfect (I did order a size up from my normal size as other reviewers suggested) and this suit is exactly what I wanted for water activities where I don't want to worry about falling out of my top. I'm large chested and this suit provides adequate support because of the built in shelf bra and cross back straps. Great quality and feels like it will last for a while. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The perfect lap suit! Conservative back. Moderate leg. Very flattering. Stays in place. It is holding its shape nicely and shows no signs of fading even with frequent use in a chlorinated pool. Even ordering 1 size up it fit very snug at first but loosened up after a few uses (typical of polyester suits). For reference I am 5'5" and wear a size 18 dress. This suit in a 20 fits great.
