doesn't fit the yoke eggsactly
Bought this to replace the extension on my 231J transfer case. The seals that were recommended for it had to be hammered in with a 2x3 and a hammer, and though the yoke fit through the seal, the inside diameter of the housing is too small to let the yoke pass through.I didn't try to return it because put the seals in, and figured they'd say I did something wrong, blah blah blah.I am trying to find another extension now that has in inside diameter of a smidgen over an inch and a half, but the only thing I can find looking for one to specifically fit the 231j (or np231j) on my 93 YJ has a bushing ID of 1 3/8 inches, so there's no way the yoke is going in there. This is driving me insane.Oh well.I'm sure this is a great product for whatever it fits onto.
