BUY IT! I really like this VTX.. I have moved it through 3 micro quads now and still like it. I have 3 types of VTXs and this one is much better. The osd built in is displaying exactly what you want and is at the bottom out of the way.. I fly a 44g micro brushed quad slinging 66mm props and have this VTX set at 100mw. I can fly 5 acres around houses and full trees with some snow (but it still shows an image!)..Note: In the attached picture you will see I didnt connect the VTX to Vbat, I'm getting battery info from Betaflight OSD instead..

I ordered this to replace the vtx on a little used lizard95 that came with another quad i bought. My summer got busy and it sat in its static bag in a drawer for a couple months before I could get it installed. It is off frequency, (set it to B8 and it shows up on B7, and R6, and A6, etc). So I set up a spectrum analyzer and it is not just off frequency, its broadcasting across more than half the 5.8ghz band and also beyond the band into protected spectrum. This makes it illegal to operate. I contacted the seller to see if they had an opinion before I left this review, they declined to even respond. I suggest you look elsewhere. Also to note, the OSD can not be turned off on this, so if you have a FC with an osd you will end up with text over text.

OSD does not work when camera is plugged in! Obviously this defeats the purpose of an OSD. To see any of the OSD info you either need to unplug your camera every time, or get a glimpse of it in the fraction of a second when you power on and before the camera boots up. Still giving it 3 stars because it functions fine as a regular vtx.

Good vtx for my toothpick. Like the uf.l antenna jack so it's easy to swap the dipole out. Mine did not come with the buck converter/ step down. I already had one on that flight controller so after adding the cam it worked fine.

Kids are dumb af they don’t know what the osd actually is. It’s more of a voltage meter not a whole grandiose betaflight contraption. The vtx does everything it’s meant to do very well and is lighter than advertised. Perfect for long and short range flying

Thought this would be the perfect upgrade to my kingkong 95GT but I couldn't get the OSD to show when the camera is connected. I tried multiple 5v sources so it's not a power problem. It's almost like it's not compatible with the camera for whatever reason. Big waste of 3 hrs trying desperately to get it to work.

In terms of size and weight, this is a reasonable solution for long range whooping. I was able to get a little beyond 2 blocks of range in an Oakland neighborhood at 200mW with a 9dBi receiver antenna. The built-in OSD is simple but effective in application.

all these cams are cheap and this one lasted about 5 mins.
