these micro lures do work, but require a bit of setup to perform correctly. most needed tuning to run ture, a few needed a drop of glue on the eyelets to set them in place ( i used starbond KEG-50 flexible CA). i also found that the floating ones worked better after removing the split ring on the front and tieing them on with a rapala loop knot. if you need them to run deeper just add a split shot 18" or so up the line from the lure.

I liked the idea and thought they would be great for the kids and pan fishing. Though if I were to do this again I would just spend the money on a name brand micro crank bait such as the strike kings. These ones were just difficult to cast even on light line where the strike king counter part I have is similar size has 2 treble hooks and weights a bit more resulting in better casting and more hook ups.

I would recommend the sinking version to help get it into the strike zone. Great for blue gill and crappie.

Good lure for panfish. Less messy than fishing with live worms or crickets. Lures suspend rather than float on top.

The treble hooks these came with were too large. I replace some of the hooks with smaller ones. First cast at the pond (Using the green bodied lure) caught a bass.
