Update: I highly recommend Lordear! They reached out to me to resolve the damaged sink issue. They definitely care deeply about their product and their customers. How wonderful it would be if more companies had such integrity! Next time we are in the market to buy a kitchen product, I would definitely buy from Lordear. Again, the biggest issue for us was that even though the sink is a beautiful high-quality farmhouse sink. it would be difficult to have it installed as a true drop-in sink due to the differing edging along the sides (flat along the back and partway up each side, but then solid to the bottom where the apron wraps around from the front. It COULD be done, but your installer would need good carpentry skills and your countertop guys would need to excel at precision and accuracy in making and finishing the cutout for the sink, especially if you--as we do--have stone counters. For this reason, the fact that the corners and one edge were slightly damaged and wouldn't sit flat along the countertop, our installer could not get it to work for us. I suspect the issue comes from shipping; even though it is well packed, the sink is VERY HEAVY (think 50-60 lbs inclusive of packages) and most of the time, UPS/USPS only has one person making deliveries. It's simply too unwieldy and heavy for one person to manage. Ours was left on our porch, so I didn't have a chance to inspect the package or even to talk to the delivery guy. I'm not sure how to resolve that with packaging, but I am confident Lordear will figure out a solution. Updating with more photos. I love the look of this sink. It is heavy, high-quality with good proportions and good sound insulation. I'm sad it looks like it won't work for us for two reasons. 1) Ours is defective. It looks as if the front apron is separating from the rest of the sink. There are big ridges along the top at both front inner corners and a tiny split along the top edge where the front meets the bowl-- right in the center of that edge. (Update: This probably happened from a drop impact during shipping; their engineers are investigating to find a solution.) 2) It is listed as Drop-In or Undermount, but our kitchen contractor said it is undermount so won't work anyway with our stone counters. I could cry because I have been waiting so long for our countertops and our kitchen to finally be completed, and my beautiful Lordear cannot be installed.

The sink came today. I opened the package to inspect for damage. It’s a beautiful sink care was taken from production all the way through packaging. Definitely would recommend it

Absolutely love, love this sink. We have had it now for about a year as part of a complete gut job, kitchen remodel. It is HUGE & gorgeous. So easy to keep clean, especially with the amazing perfect fitting grate. The only thing we did not realize (buyer error in not measuring) was the front apron sticks out quite a bit, so just be sure to measure! We had plenty of room but it was a bit shocking when installed at how large it juts out. Now that we have been using it for about a year I love how much it sticks out as it adds to the overall size. The amount of space inside the sink is hard to describe! Love the color as well. Lastly the customer service is above & beyond. We had a question & the response was quick & great answer. We will be doing a small kitchen in our basement next year & hope to be able to use another product by this brand, not sure the kitchen size can support this large of a sink but if the design works we will use this exact product again.

The sink its self is actually high quality. But the first sink was badly damaged. Amazon did send a replacement but it too was damaged. And the sink drain assembly is very cheap. The threads stripped with finger tight. Called Amazon and at first they said sorry because we sent you a replacement there is nothing we can do. Then they said send back both for a full refund. I explained that that would cost me even more money. We already had to reschedule our first install for the sink and new granite counter due to the first sink not being able to be installed. And that I had no choice but to have the 2nd sink installed today or waite 3 more weeks to have the installers come back out. And they wanted to charge us a fee if they did that. So now off to buy a new drain assembly from lowes and live with a dented and scratch sink. Amazon is getting worse and worse I think now it's time to stop using them and also I think we are done using Amazon for our business as well.

I am impressed with this sink. I was hesitant to buy it. I did not want to spend this kind of money and have it scratch and not clean well. I have the black stainless, which is more of a gunmetal and I knew that before buying. It is the exact color I had wanted. My plumber had no issues installing the sink. We got the dimensions off line and ordered the cabinets and counters accordingly. Fit perfectly. I have five kids and I was concerned about scratching. So far, we have no issues. I also have a gas range and cook with cast iron. I was afraid the cast iron grates and skillets might scratch it as well. Again, so far so good! There is a slight amount of standing water when it is drained, but nothing that bothers me. I periodically wipe it out and have had no issues. I do use the stainless steel grate that came with it for the bottom. I have received many compliments on it because it is beautiful and it doubles nicely as a bathtub for my 2 year old.
