Great hacker with a great price
Nice short sword/machete. Hefty in the hand and well balanced. A little worried about the rubber grip with repeat use and age but I’m happy overal. Came very sharp and has a thick spine. Leather sheath is well made and holds the sword securely for what it is. Great price, I’m happy.

Well-balanced, sturdy, sharp
I was skeptical about paying this much for a machete, but I am glad I took the risk. Very good quality! Very sharp!Balance is in middle of blade rather than at handle for that nice "flick" for chopping. Grip is very comfortable and does well even when your hands are wet or sweaty. Pinch-grip will offer you excellent control of this tool without requiring too much effort.Blade is 1095 high-carbon steel so it WILL rust if not oiled or greased but this steel takes an edge very well. Blade arrives oiled and sharpened.Comes with a leather sheath that is alright, but I see it as paying for a high quality tool and getting a free sheath with it.If you're a regular user of this type of tool then this will be a solid choice and should last re st of you life....unless you like breaking your things.

Tires BEWARE
Good short sword doesn't come razor sharp but has an edge to it. The packaging was good wrapped in plastic sealed with a lawyer of oil. It's great for the price you're paying is it a battle ready blade? No but is it better then a machete? Yes. I will add the rubber handle smells like a tire store is my only real displeasure but all in all I plan on buying the others in this series Atlanta windlass.
