Impressive Garden Fire Place
Overall very pleased with the Stonehurst. Looks the part and allows an enjoyable evening by the fire in open air.Quick to construct, Its assembly is very simple 4 nuts and bolts for the side uprights onto the base and 4 nuts onto the pre mounted threads for the top. The fire tray just drops in. Theres a small grate grill inside the fire tray and it comes complete with a raking tool.Mine had a very minor ding in the base when it arrived probably due to transit wear and tear but I straightened it out no problem with a small nylon hammer. The bronze effect appears to be a painted on effect onto what would have originally been a black firepit. There are a couple of stickers on the base unit which if peeled off, leave a black area ( showing the bronze effect was applied after application of the stickers). This doesnt bother me at all and I have removed both stickers for a cleaner appearance.Cover - To protect the pit from the elements I purchased a cover from a well known DIY outlet. The cover fits well and should prolong the life of the pit. ( Hamilton 82 x 69 x 91 )As mentioned very happy with this.

Love it love it love it
For starters, delivery was great and arrived really quickly. Easy to put together, took about 10 minutes and we were ready to go. Had a lovely evening playing with the fire. It's very light and easy to move around. We had it on a mat but I don't think we really needed to as the base doesn't get that hot. Smoke channelled up through the chimney nicely and it's easy to clean out as the pit is removable. My only minor grumble is that the base is open at the bottom so we'd have to take logs out to move it. I may look into getting a sheet of metal to slot in there so the logs aren't directly on the ground. Otherwise, completely happy. It looks fantastic and does its job well.

Great fire pit
Looks great and works as expected. Love the little storage place underneath. Wish it had come with a cover, but did find one on amazon.

Good and Not so Good
Where to start? Wanted this style of patio log burner but wanted plain matt black. For some unknown reason neither the sellers of plain black burners in this style on Amazon and eBay would not ship to Northern Ireland even though the whole Brexit crap has been ironed out. Therefore this La Hacienda burner was the only one which the Amazon seller would ship so bought it. It is not finished in plain matt black which we knew. It has like gold brush strokes loudly plastered all over it in an attempt to give it some sort of rustic look which to us was a bit too gaudy, Others might disagree that's what makees us individuals. When I unboxed it to assemblee, I noticed that the paint was a bit thin on the burner sections and on the spot welded joints on the underside it had already started to rust. After all the trouble getting the burner I didn't want to send it back. So to sort the thin paint, the rusting spot welds and the gaudy gold brush strokes, I sanded all the parts by hand, bought a large tin of matt black BBQ & Stove paint (not spray can) off Amazon and gave all the sections several coats of the paint using a small roller and brush before assembly. My next issue was the log storage area underneath has no floor so the logs lie on the ground. No not good. So bought a small sheet of galvanised expanded wire mesh and sets of stainless steel nuts/bolts/washers off eBay, cut mesh to size, trteated with primer, painted matt black same as log burher sections and bolted to base of burner. Sorted, keeps logs off the patio. Final mod was we wanted to be able to move the burner easily while lit. So I bought heavy duty braked castors off Screwfix and bolted one to the underside of each corner and we can now move it when lit and apply brakes on castors when moved. The end result we feel is what a reputable company like La Hacienda should offer in the first place. Have to say the burner would work well for most when assembled out of the box and most smoke is wafted away through the chimney even on breezy evenings. Maybe others will disagree with our criticisms or are unable to carry out these mods. These were our gripes with this burner but would be hard pushed to buy our ideal unit anywhere. Just thought it important that you should know about these issues.

Looks decent quality but no fixings supplied.
Looks nice enough but can’t comment on ease of construction or use as the product has been supplied without any fixings. No option to discuss with seller and so 1 star review is my only option before a trip to B&Q.
