MoenYB5408BN Kingsley Traditional Double Post Pivoting Toilet Paper Holder, Brushed Nickel

Truly, this is a heavy-weight, sturdy and easy to refill toilet paper holder. We purchased the brushed nickel option to match other our bathroom trim and my husband installed this (in about 20 minutes) in our 2yr old daughter's bathroom. He had never installed a toilet paper holder before, but is very hady with a drill and a level. One side went into a stud & the other side was secured with the anchors provided in the package. Anchors provided are of good quality... My daughter won't be able to pull this out of the wall. One of my most favorite aspects of this toilet paper holder is the way the bar pivots up/down, making it SUPER EASY to change the paper roll! The bar is not spring loaded (I hate those) and it DOES NOT come off if you pull the toilet paper too hard, and it DOES NOT flop out of your hands and roll away down the bathroom floor. Haha! The bar just pivots "up" and then back "down", snapping securely into place. See my photo #3. Excellent functional design & beautiful lines! Would buy over & over again!

Glad I spent the extra money, for something you use everyday it's nice to have a quality piece of hardware. You can definitely tell the difference between this and a cheap $10 tp holder.EDIT: Have to update this to two stars, the pivot action keeps loosening the left side so I have to use the little Allen wrench to tighten it every time we change the roll. I installed the hardware exactly as specified in the instructions. Bad design to have that pivot.

The end of the rod for the toilet paper is out of square!!!! The end of the rod that is supposed to connect with the stationary part is out of square and so does not fit properly! Unfortunately, this was not evident until I installed the holder and now the return window is closed. Our bathroom remodel took longer than expected and I did not get to install this until today. VERY DISAPPOINTED!UPDATE: Called Moen customer service and explained the situation. They sent out a replacement right away. The replacement looks great. Great customer service, poor quality control. Upgraded to 3 stars.

Everyone else has already commented on the virtues of the pivoting design. They are all right. It's awesome and you will never look back. Rather than repeat those reviews, I want to comment on why this Moen Kingsley is worth the price premium compared to other products.I purchased three different pivoting TP holders - a Moen Inspirations, a Delta Mandara, and this Moen Kingsley. While all of them look good and function well, the Moen Kingsley looks and feels so much more "rich". The first thing you notice when you take it out of the box is that it has some weight to it. It has a classical elegance that makes a subtle but also surprisingly noticeable statement in your bathroom. Honestly, it makes the room feel more luxurious. The pivot mechanism is smooth and makes a resoundingly satisfying "clank" sound when it closes.Finish - the bronze finish in the product picture is very close to what you receive. On the scale of oil rubbed bronze, Kingsley is perhaps medium-dark with some lighter accents. It is not the super dark, almost black color you sometimes see, and it is not the lighter, copper-like color you also see. IMO it is what "oil rubbed bronze" is supposed to look like. I love Moen fixtures and use them exclusively in my house, however they really need to get their act together with consistent pictures of their various finishes. Oil rubbed bronze in one collection is NOT the same as another, and their website is very inconsistent and misleading.BOTTOM LINE: this is expensive, but worth every penny. It is classy and has a heavy and sturdy pivot mechanism. We loved it so much we bought another one for the downstairs bath!

This is easy to install when the precise template is used for screw placement. The reviews that mention problems with it connecting properly must not have been fastidious with their measurements. My bumpy wall was not an issue either. The holder has a hefty feel and the roll slides easily onto the pivot arm. It only pivots up counterclockwise due to the latch, but it makes no difference as I have one on the right side of a toilet and one on the left of another. The arm is longer than most but the knobs on it keep the roll centered. The extra length keeps the roll from rubbing against the base of the posts which was an issue with my older holder. The best thing about it is it holds a new Costco mega roll with a little room to spare. I did a lot of research before purchasing and am very pleased with my choice. I highly recommend this holder.

This is a solid high quality TP holder. It's not some cheap chrome painted thin metal or plastic piece of junk. With these flip up styles, I don't think it can get any easier to replace a paper roll either. Therefore, your family should have no excuse not to change out the rolls anymore. Unfortunately, this still won't prevent them from loading the roll on backwards.

My husband and I constantly have "who is going to change the toilet paper" battles, due to the annoyance of the standard spring-loaded toiler paper holder. HOWEVER. With this pivoting arm, I find myself excited to change the TP! Yes, EXCITED. Why all toilet paper holders aren't made this way, I'll never know. But this is a quality, good-looking piece of hardware, and we love it! We have decided to make sure all the TP holders in the house now come with the pivoting arm.

I wanted a black toilet paper holder that would fit into my industrial/vintage/farmhouse bathroom decor. This holder looks great because it melds into the decor without making a huge statement like the other holders I had considered. It is well-made, and my husband said it was easy to install. Also, there is plenty of room for a mega-sized toilet paper roll. No more spring-loaded parts flying across the room.

My husband warned me about buying hardware items like the Moen Kingsley towel bars and pivoting paper holder from the internet, without seeing them first, but when I couldn't find what I wanted in stores, I went ahead and bought them from Amazon, proving him wrong, once again! The pivoting paper holder was about $25.00 cheaper than it was at Home Depot, and I didn't have to pay shipping. It's also a beautiful product; I bought it in the brushed nickel, and it's really elegant, with a soft shine, and the pivot was a revelation! (Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but after years and years of changing toilet rolls on an old-fashioned toilet roll holder, this is so easy.) All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchases: They're beautiful, well-made, and look like they'll last a long time.

Moen...a nice quality product. We have the Kingsley pattern in our master bathroom so this paper holder fits right in. I love the pivoting arm for the paper, makes it so nice and easy to change the roll.
