Works well with mallets with handles designed to be used as a removal tool.
They are tent spikes. Not much to say. Took them desert camping last weekend and they worked way better than the cheap stakes that come with tents. Had a crazy wind/rain storm and they didnt budge. Bought a plastic mallet designed for this type of stake and they worked well together. I could feel the stake hitting rocks but was able to hammer past them where the cheap stakes would just bend. Used the mallet handle to pull them up and none of them broke as I've seen on some of the stakes I've seen at camps over the years. Will definitely recommend to my scouts.

you can drive these with a hammer and they work in rocky soil.
I use these for surveying stakes because my soil does not allow using wooden stakes. The bright orange cap makes them easy to spot when you're looking for them.

stakes don't hold well.
Nice stakes but they don't hold tent awning ropes worth a hoot in rocky soil. With a minimal amount of side pull, they move. We'll need to find more angle iron type of stakes our awning originally came with.

This held up nicely for CA desert camping
These did exactly the job I needed them to do!I went camping out in Death Valley National Park and needed my tent to not blow away in the strong gusts of wind.This held up nicely for CA desert camping.Winds were up to 50 MPH

Well.....they are stakes, they work well, they don’t fall apart... not sure what to really say accept they work as intended lol.

Best stakes ever!
