Easy to play and fun.

Game is pretty decent, but be warned, the box and/or some of the components are strongly perfumed! It fits the theme, but would be too strong for scent-sensitive folks. (Can only really smell it when open, not closed on the shelf.)

Mercado has a similar mechanism to Roll for It , just with more ways to score, more going on in general. A great game for anyone who would like a more interesting/involved version of Roll for It, Las Vegas, Age of War, etc.

I purchased this game for myself without ever having played it before, which is something I don't ordinarily do. But I like the designer's other games and this was on sale, so I decided to give this one a shot. It's a simple game that incorporates and combines a few nice mechanics. There is a blind draw of resources, multiple purchase choices, and a race element. It is simple enough for casual/family gaming, but also offers enough strategic depth for more serious gamers.

There is randomness in the items available for purchase. There is randomness in what you pull from your bag. Finally, many purchases have randomness for the number of victory points they award you. This is all too much.Decisions carry little agency with this much randomness.The Quacks of Quedlinburg has bag drawing randomness with push your luck (while still being light on strategy) and is an infinitely better family game.

Mercado is an interesting little game, fun with some flaws. For a first time player, it takes a lot of explanation to understand how the game works; it’s unnecessarily complicated. The other main issue is that the game finishes when one player has made it all the way around the score board, but the score board feels way too short for this. A game could be over in a few turns depending on how it all shakes out.Overall, if you’re just looking for an economical game to play with three other people, this could fill your needs, but I would recommend Kingsburg instead.

Semplice e divertente. Lo consiglio!!

El juego es muy bueno, es un juego sencillo y táctico y de poca duración, con algo de azar pero con opciones para mitigar este punto. La mecánica es sencilla, en tu turno sacas 3 monedas de tu bolsa y tratas de comprar losetas o por lo menos dejar un adelanto, en algunas ocasiones puedes tener la mala suerte de sacar alguna moneda falsa (monedas negras). El juego es una carrera para ver quien se lleva la loseta y gana los puntos, que es la parte divertida del juego. El tiempo de duración a 2 jugadores es de apenas 30 minutos, no lo he jugado a 4 pero creo que debe resultar mejor pues hay más competencia por las losetas. Personalmente me ha gustado mucho y por el precio de $180 pesos que me costó está excelente. Si te gusta la estrategia a tope, cero azar y mucho para pensarle tal vez no sea tu juego, fuera de esta te va a gustar. Le doy un 9 en el rango de la BGG como filler que es.

Es un juego sencillo, pero bueno. Lo compré a un precio bajo, por lo cuál valió la pena. Sin embargo, faltaron unas monedas en el juego.
