Tremendous value, great tasting treat.
As far as I'm concerned, you can keep your new fangled "energy" bars and give me one of these bars any day. It's a close run thing between Quiggins and Romney's, both companies still operating from Kendal so have that degree of authenticity. I can imagine the proprietors facing off in a duel over who has the best, but suffice to say both products are excellent and I chose Quiggin's on this occasion because I needed multiple bars to hand out to a bunch of hill walkers. The taste is divine, sweetly minty, and the crumbly milky way the bar dissolves in the mouth is pure heaven. I have to say that the chocolate covered bars are even tastier (if that's possible) but on a practical level they tend to melt (as chocolate does...) so these win the day for me.Other bars may be "faster, stronger for longer" but they don't taste anything as good as these.

Very short shelf life
Ordered. 3 packs of 24 so 72 bars that arrived mid Dec 2020, sell by date for all of them was 1 Jan 2021. I should have been informed that I was buying stock with such a short shelf life. Not impressed !!

Climb every mountain
Really good value as a large pack - the actual packets are just the right size for one-per-day when trekking - and they went to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro where they much needed and much appreciated. Oh, and it's really yummy - even at base camp!

A bit powdery but still good
Not as good as Romney’s . It was very powdery and not firm. Tastes good though.

Nice treat.
Nice for a treat for anyone who really likes mint. Very moreish! I much prefer Quiggin's to other makes of Kendal Mint Cake as it seems to have more flavour and a nicer texture.

THE WHITE STUFF
Great value for money, and as my mother who has dementia is addicted to it - it makes for a lovely treat chopped into chunks. Keeps her happy for ages and much less deadly than cigarettes. Modest packaging and swift delivery.

Oh........ Kendal Mint Cake
Slightly biased when it comes to Kendal mint cake as even when it comes out of my pocket soggy and covered in fluff it is wonderful! The pack is great value. How could I not buy it or you for that matter.
