These bird perches are all natural wood and come with the hardware to attach to a cage or perch.I used them to make a "tree" for our parrot, Beau, to use on our pool deck. I also used 1.5" dowels and jute cord. He'll eventually chew through the perches and may nibble at the jute but it's all good enrichment for him to have something to chew on, and good for his beak as well.These perches (and the swing, which was too small for him, as he's a double yellow-headed Amazon parrot) come with threaded rods already inserted into the base, washers, and wing nuts. There are also some flimsy little bells on the swing and one of the perches but I removed those. I'm not sure if they were plastic or tin but either way, I didn't want him to eat them. They might be ok for a smaller bird to play with, though.It was very easy to make the nice tree you see in the pictures using this perch set, and it made Beau happy!

The set of 5 natural wood bird perches is a good value for the money but some of these toys may be dangerous for your birds. Anything that has bells in it will capture the birds attention and they will try to eat the bell gong which may become stuck in their throat. Luckily with some effort from the owner the bells can be removed to protect your birds. One of the other perches that I didnt like too much was the platform because it may harm the birds feet over time, its healthier for the birds feet to grab on to round perches where their feet can go all around instead of laying flat.The two sun conures that I have loved the bird swing, they started to try to chew the little wooden pieces on it while they were on the bird swing, I was worried that medium sized parrots like Sun Conures might not fit in the bird swing but mine fit without any problems.I gave this set a 4/5 because while it is a good value and the perches are made out of natural wood some of these perches might cause damage to your birds over the long run (if they eat the bell gongs or if their feet become warped from the flat platform perch) so I took away 1 star because of that.

My chinchillas are loving these wood toys. I know they are for birds, but a chin likes nothing more than a high perch to sit and chew on. It was a great quality wood with a fresh smell, that they are enjoying chewing. They are very stable mounted on the cage wall, so the chins have no issues hang out on them. They came with all the required hardware to mount each perch and the bird swing was made with a good heavy wire, so it can't be chewed through. Which is a great plus with animals that chew as much as chinchillas. They are smaller perches but of course would fit in a smaller cage perfectly.

I absolutely love these natural wood bird perches! My birds love hopping around on them and they look beautiful. I also trust my birds to chew on them since they are natural wood and they come with the washers to attach them to your cage. These look great and my bird has been having a lot more enrichment from being able to land in new places! They are good size for both my budgie and my parrot they are very sturdy once you screw them on tight enough and you get a lot of them for the price

I have cockatiels. This is a nice little set of natural wood perches that I think they will enjoy. The swing is on the smaller side for my cockatiels though. But what’s really good about the perches is that they are natural wood for them to chew on and they come in a variety of different thicknesses and shapes which is very good exercise for my birbs’ feet. The set comes with washers and wing nuts to attach to the cage. Most birb parents will advise you to remove the bells and hooks right away as they can be very dangerous (even fatal) for birbs (I removed the bells and hooks after I took the pictures included in my review). For the price, this is a solid little set and it was very easy to attach the different perches to the cage.

This is a nice assortment of 4 perches and 1 swing. All of the hardware to install is included. The size of 3 of the 4 perches work great for my cockatiel. The smallest (4th) perch isn't going to be used as a perch. It's small and my bird is handicapped on one of his feet and needs something larger than the twig. We put it up so he could play with or chew on it when he's bored.We flipped the larger flat perch to be round and rough side up. He seemed to enjoy this more than the flat side.The swing has gone unused by my bird. but looks well built and like it would provide enjoyment.Overall, it's worth the purchase if you're looking to replace perches and provide enrichment for your bird.
