Strong and Sturdy
The case performs as advertised. Closure snap apparatus is a bit difficult with my bare hands, but I’ve found that using a towel protects my fingernails during opening. I’m pleased with the investment made in this product.

Love the case.
I got this case to store my wife's medical documentation and chemo meds, directly from harbor freight (it's Harbour Freight brand) and absolutely love it. Personally I would get it from HF for about $35 cheaper, but that's just me. My personal opinion, is that it's really comparable to a pelican case... I'm kind of jealous that I couldn't get another one for myself.

I'm impressed...
Ok, I'm impressed. The equivalent Pelican brand case will probably run you around $150. I picked this up for $30 using a coupon at Harbor Freight.I was looking for a case I could put my DSLR into for airline travel. I wanted something big enough to fit my camera and all of my lenses (with room to grow) but small enough that it would fit underneath an airplane seat (e.g., on regional jets). I also didn't want something too expensive, since I wouldn't be using it all that often. Shopping online, it was really hard to figure out what size would do the trick, so I picked this one up at store so I could easily return if things didn't fit.Plucking the foam was a cinch. I was disappointed that you couldn't pluck the foam to varying depths (not sure if other cases allow this). As a tip: be sure to leave at least two rows of foam blocks between each section--if you just have one, it's going to be too flimsy and that row might tear off. As an example, if you look at the attached photos, I plucked one too many out by the shutter release and had to shove it back in because otherwise the lone square was too flimsy, but now with doing that, the middle one by the shutter release fits loosely. Try to cut everything into squares--it's not going to contour perfectly, but that's ok--you'll get a tight enough fitThis case has enough room for my EOS 80D body (with or without a lens up to my 55-250 mm attached), 55-250 mm (on side), 18-55 (upright) and 50 mm (upright or sideways). I also have room to grow with room for one more non-telephoto lens. I suppose I could put a spare battery there as well.I'd recommend making a cutout that can accommodate the body with or without your largest lens attached and then separately make room for all of the lenses so you can travel with the body unattached to a lens. In my experience, TSA usually asks you to take the lenses off the body during screening, but you want to be able to carry it around with the lens on so you don't have to remove the lens every time you put it in the case.Time will tell how this knockoff holds up to pressure and abuse, but for my use, I don't expect too rugged of conditions.
