This heat gun is perfect for shrink wrap bags or shrink wrap tubing. So far that is all I have used it for, but I can see this heat gun coming in handy for many other projects! It is a little pricey compared to others, but trust me the quality is much better and it is well made. You get what you pay for, type of deal :) Hope this review helps some of you

Incredibly hot and it heats almost instantly it's not mini is a little big so don't spec something, I love the heat guard that it has super precise and good value for money

Not quite hot enough for shaping of thicker/denser EVA foam - I was working with a 40mm foam dowel and 10mm foam and it wasn't quite enough. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But it's very easy to use, small, the color matches the image. Works great for smaller projects or materials that aren't quite as thick or dense! Pretty dang cute! It'd be a great first heat gun if you've never used one before.

Excellent for watercolor drying! Best little air gun, made with good material, not cheap, and doesn't blow any fuses. I feel confident having this plugged in to use every day with my watercolor work.

Very strong heat gun! I actually burned myself like an idiot. Don't be like me and underestimate how hot it gets. Also durable cause I dropped it when I burnt myself and works like a charm still

Got this small heat gun because I was tired of using my big workshop heat gun for detailed craft work. It works very well. The low setting is perfect for heat shrink tubing. The heating pattern is small and tight, allowing good control, so I don't accidently soften surrounding materials. I just use it in short bursts, so I cannot comment on how it works for sustained use. It seems very solidly made and came well packaged. Glad I got it.
