Yale Platinum 3 Star Euro TS2007 Door Cylinder Lock High Security

Seeing how easy it is to break through a basic euro cylinder is pretty shocking. I swapped out the 0 star cylinder for this three star (the maximum rating available), it's an easy swap, 2 minutes with a screwdriver. It's clearly more secure, sacrificial snap points to stop making things easy for a burglar, as well as the keys having two slots, so anyone trying to pick the lock, would effectively need to pick two locks at a time.Just remembered to measure up properly, as these aren't all the same length.

received this today and fitted it.I had to remove the door handles/cover plate in order to fit this. I did have to spend about 10 minutes trying to align the handle cover plate to secure the 2 screws holding the inside to outside.Now the advice was to measure your existing lock and buy the same one - which I did.My current lock protrudes on the inside by - perhaps 5mm.Anyway, the fitting instructions advise the lock barrel to be level with the handle plate....well, erm not quite on the inside!So should I have bought the slight smaller INT figure by 5mm - perhaps yes had they not plastered the advise to get the exact same one you have. I'm guessing that would have then fitted perfectly and still worked. So a bit annoyed about that, was on the verge of sending it back to get the slightly smaller one, but I didn't want the ob to take even longer.

Fitted in my daughter's property, as the old lock was not working properly. Chose this type of lock, as it had the best security features, I could find at a reasonable price.

It took only a few minutes to fit the new lock. on my wooden door I had to make a couple of drill cuts to allow for the anti bump nodules, but that was a 30 second job. these locks are easy to fit and provide much improved security against bump devices.

It has been received as expected and I am happy with the delivery.

Great lock easy fitting a little notchy but after applying oil better ,will no doubt get smoother with use has to bed in I guess
