I have only used a pole spear and wanted to get into a basic spear gun, mostly for freshwater, but also for some reef spearing. This gun is awesome. Its super simple, it packs a powerful shot and without a reel makes it so easy to reload and use again quickly. The functionality is easy, but note that the bands are extremely tight. It takes a lot to pull it back and I am hoping it gets easier the more shots I take. Value for the money - cant beat it. Im thrilled with the purchase. One critique, replace the rubber line bungee with something more durable. Mine broke, but its an easy replacement.

Gun feels cheap, but it is cheap. Everything works as it should on the gun.Photos of the 60t show it coming with 2 bands, mine showed up with 1, no big deal, I'm changing them both out for different bridles any way. For 70$ it's a great deal

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this purchase, paid off with a big grouper my first beach dive! I added a second 26" band and was thrilled with the amount of power. It also came with a larger set of screw in bands for easier loading. Exactly as advertise, easy to use and can't beat the price!
