Yes, the directions say to dip them in boiling water, BUT, don't do that. I got too many air bubbles doing such, so I used my head gun instead and it worked perfectly.Remove the old fletchings/vanes and get ALL OF THE OLD GLUE OFF. Failure to do so will cause the shrink stuff to not seal properly around the shaft.Next, with the nock removed, clean the surface with 91% alcohol and let dry. Then, fit the fletching wrap on the shaft where you need it, and set the heat gun on the lowest setting.Start from one and work your way to the other end while going in a side to side motion with your hand. Keeping the heat pointed at one spot for too long will cause the wrap to melt. Also, make sure to get in the crevices at the base of the vanes while going toward the other end so it forms a nice, tight seal.Set aside and let cool for a few minutes and repeat the process if needed.

And I thought my arrows were deadly accurate before!! Super easy to use and improved accuracy even in windy conditions.

I get them today installing was light work 5 minutes 3 arrows only 5 out of 6 were correct the one had glue all over and the white vain 1/2 to a 1 down from the rest so not got thown away but they shoot the same and fit my Easton fmj5mm if you have arrows with fletching missing or have shot them off highly recommend there not gonna tighten your group but easy and quick and cheap and worth the money

Great product, great price, and even better customer support.I bought a single pack of these to redo 6 arrows, they were just practice ones so for the sake of this review, I cannot say how well these influence accuracy as those arrows weights and such vary.Anyway, installation is super quick, after you get a pot of water boiling it only takes 10 minutes, and I just cut off the old vanes while waiting for the water to boil, only took me about a half hour in total to redo 6 arrows.I did have some troubles with the first set I got, some of the vanes would pop off after a couple times shooting them. I contacted the company using the support email I found on their website ([email protected]) and explained the situation, they were able to track down where my box came from and figured out it was a part of a bad batch they made, to fix the problem the sent me four, yes 4, new boxes of quikfletches of my choice. Above and beyond by a huge margin any kind of service I expected.Because of their great product and extraordinary customer service they definitely have me as a lifetime customer, and I would highly recommend you use them as well.

Easy install and work very well have shot them roughly 100 times no issues

The quick fletch vanes were delivered ealier than expected which is always a good thing. I have been using the quick for the past 3yrs and they out perform fletching that are individually glued on. I have had pass throughs on layered targets and the quick fletch has held up with no problems. I have missed targets and entire arrow is berried in the dirt after pulling the arrow out the fletching is still intact no rips or anything. I know some have said that the quick fletch doesn't adhere to the shaft or there are air bubbles. I have found that as soon as you dip the arrow in the water put the end arrow up against the bottom side of the pan and spin the arrow back and forth that will keep air bubbles from forming. Of course you have to have the water to boiling point not necessarily boiling.
