Worked as advertised.

The product arrived intact without any visible issues. You receive a tube of 50 strips, and two sealed refill packages of 50 strips each. Upon opening the bottle, I found that all the strips in the bottle have a dark edge on the developing pad, at the edge of the strip closest to the lid. Due to testing the operation of my newly installed water softener, I couldn't rely on the strips in the bottle, since low/no hardness develops to a shade of green, and the strips in the bottle already turned green on the one edge. I opened one of the refill packs and found no issues with them. I did later test a non-softened water source with the strips from the bottle and compared to a refill strip and found that they do seem to read accurately still, so long as the strip is read opposite of the damaged edge. Since it seems that the tube is prone to moisture intrusion, I would recommend storing the strips in a different container that is known to be air-tight, and with a desiccant in the container.

The reason I gave it a 3 stars is because they came in damaged. The one package looked cut on the bottom and the test 50 pack of test trips were all over the bag it was delivered in. I don't even know if they worked or not.

these are very easy to use and it doesn't take long. i got them to test my water and they showed hardness of 250. after installing/using water softener for a couple weeks, i tested again and got the low (dark green) reading. i have been getting the dark green ever since. i've also used the strips to test friends water who don't have a softener- they give hardness of varying degrees. tested my neighbors water (who has a softener) and got the low (dark green) reading. so, i'd say these are accurate.
