It is hard, but it is worth it
We do a lot of puzzles and really, especially with those that have letters on the back we can finish a puzzle in a day. However, when puzzles are costing £20+ being able to finish it in a day isn't a good thing. This puzzle took us nearly 3 weeks (lockdown weeks, not normal weeks) and was both intensley frustrating and wonderfully satisfying! The pieces are all the same shape and the colour is so similar and the guide picture is so small. But, if you are good at puzzles and enjoy a real challenge it is really worth it.Thanks to the great and honest reviews here, I knew what I was getting myself in for when I bought it and was prepared for it being tricky and taking time. The finished product is so pretty and satisfying, I am very tempted to frame it.

Hardest jigsaw I've ever come across
Got it as a gift for a jigsaw enthusiast and let me tell you this was by far the most difficult puzzle they've ever done. Gave it at Christmas and It wasn't done till July. Totally worth the money and they loved the HP theme. The only problem is the reference picture is super tiny and you need really sharp vision or a magnifying glass. Or another print out.

Great - if you enjoy a challenging jigsaw!
I bought this puzzle for my (adult) Harry Potter fan son. His comment: send it back. My (even bigger) Potter fan granddaughter called it impossi-puzzle. However once I worked out how to tackle it I thoroughly enjoyed it. Number one problem the tiny picture they expect you to work from - I don't know how some people managed with a magnifying glass! I got it enlarged onto two A3 sheets, this was workable. The normal way to start a puzzle is with the edge pieces, however that doesn't work with this one - you have to start one row in which feels strange. The colours do all seem the same however there are nuances. Some criticisms that the pieces are all the same are misleading - they are all the two 'plugs' facing one another and two 'holes' facing one another type but the shapes vary widely, although there are some that will fit comfortably in a number of spaces - you have to be aware of the colour and picture. At a glance the picture seems to be the same all over, but again, look closer and each little bit of picture is different from any other. I found the pieces sturdy and well-fitting. So, my only real criticism is the enclosed picture - there is no way I could have worked from that, I don't suppose two A3 sheets would ever be provided and not everyone has access to an A3 copier.

great challenge, great looking when complete
Great looking puzzle , it is difficult but well worth the time spent . 13year old found it too hard , adult puzzle really . Really good size and I used Mod Podge glossy puzzle glue when finished to seal it and then hung it on children’s bedroom wall . Looks brill

Challenging but worth it
As per other reviews, the reference picture is TINY, and difficult to make out the tiny details.Extremely challenging puzzle, but i thoroughly enjoyed that about it. Although frustrating at times, I'd happily sit and do it all again.I have included photos of the finished piece alongside the refence picture, as well as the puzzle. Hopefully the quality stays good enough so that you can zoom in enough to help figure out those tricky bits!

You definitely need a larger copy of the M_map!
Having read the reviews, I ummed and aahed over buying this jigsaw but am so glad I went ahead with it: such a feeling of accomplishment when the last piece went in. Having said that, t would not have been possible using only the 'map' provided by Noble Collection. Like others I strongly recommend sourcing another larger copy of the map before starting! Enjoy ...

Challenging and great quality!
Great fun! Excellent quality and size! Quite a challenging puzzle but my wife and I managed it in the end! Took us easily 10+ hours. Did it a few hours each night whilst watching Christmas films.Only issue always that the reference picture was very small. But we found a high quality image online and used our iPad.

Hardest Puzzle I've EVER completed!
We do A LOT of jigsaw puzzles in our house but I have to say this is the hardest we have EVER done, to the point that we almost gave up! I think we only persevered because we are a stubborn lot! It does look great now we've finished it (took us about 2 and a half/3 weeks) and I am thinking of framing it as it looks so nice and because I don't think we would ever complete it again, so seems like a good idea to get value for money. For anyone buying this it's worth knowing 2 key things:1. All the puzzle pieces are the same shape. I wish I had known this as it contributes massively to how hard the puzzle is. With them all looking very similar in colour etc. you can't break it down by shape to help you as they are all the same and just alternate between going horizontal and vertical. Because of them all being one shape the puzzle also doesn't stay/fit together very well, so you have to be really careful with it as it comes apart so easily and a lot of the pieces "fit" in more than one place even though they are not correct (and I mean a perfect fit) so its hard to feel like you've got a win when you do get a piece in as a lot of the time it ended up being wrong.2. The picture on the back of the box and the one they give you inside the box are both miniscule! It is almost impossible to see the detail in the map which is crucial for completing this puzzle. We were using magnifying glasses to try and look at the pictures, taking photos on our phone and zooming in to try and get a better look and were still struggling to see it clearly! I would recommend maybe buying a maurades map to use as your 'picture' instead (as others have suggested in their reviews) which is annoying as they are about £15-£20.Overall, I would say great for any potter head but don't be big headed and ignore the reviews about difficulty like me, you will genuinely be in for a head spinner and its certainly not your traditional puzzle.
