PNI MCASTWD Miracast Multimeda Device, Black

I recently bought one of the "MiraScreen Dongle" from amazon website and it works perfect. If any one know on the start screen on tv, how can I change the default selected option from apple to android?

The product did not work, although I wouldn't normally give a bad review if I am expected to get a full refund. My issue is that the seller website, which I needed to visit in order to get the manual, required a sign in from a Google or Facebook account in order to view it, and then required permissions to access and alter the files in my Google Drive, and to access my email address. This is completely unnecessary to download a pdf and frankly worrying as they gain access to significant amounts of personal data.

Bought for a friend without Internet access to cast their tablet to the TV. Easy to setup via Android, Windows 10.If you have Broadband it will also connect to that at the same time.I don't have any Apple products so I can't help there.Works with BBC iplayer and games.Netflix, All4 and Now TV seem to block screen mirroring on their Apps but only All4 say they don't allow it when you try.I've not tried it via a browser so that might be a work around.Great price for an excellent product

Having windows 10 on my HP Laptop found the wifi transfer slow and unable to play any films. Need to check my computer for faults. Back to using a cable

Plugged it in, pressed the button on the device to toggle between iOS/DLNA and Android, selected MirrorShare on my Huawei P9 shortcuts and it was immediately selectable. Tapped on it and my screen was immediately mirrored in HD (including sound) Works great with Amazon video, Mobdro, Sky go etc. The only reason its not 5 stars is that it needs a 1 amp USB power adapter that isn't supplied and most of the ones we own are a lot less or a lot more! Still worked on a 0.2A adapter but some issues with the image jumping but its 5 times less than the specified power rating so it's amazing it worked at all! No problems at all when using correct power adapter

Absolutely brilliant. Better than chromecast imo. I have an lg g5 can cast my screen and full screen films. Perfect.

did not work: After initially receiving an empty box, amazon then sent a replacement which looked different to the advert.... okay, so I tried it and low an behold, although the phone could see the device a connection could not be established. needless to say my days of purchasing stuff on amazon will be limited now after a number of purchases of "garbage" product.

Easy enough to set up and works ok for still images, but the video playback can be slow and jerky when watching high quality videos with airplay mirroring. Perhaps try the 5g version if you want to play DVD quality movies.The Manufacturer has been very helpful though so rating increased to 4 stars.
