I never understand why so many ladies coats end at the waist or the bum. So happy to find this coat. Long enough to cover the bum, lightweight enough to keep me from overheating, but waterproof and a good hood to keep me dry. As an added bonus, I checked some of the other reviews and ordered a 14 which fits absolutely fine and not tight across the bust or hips as many other coats are. Zips all the way up and is comfortable not restrictive across the bust. AND it has a double zip!!! SO useful - why don't all coat makers use these. So if you're getting in the car or sitting on the train, or need to get your phone out of your trouser pocket (me) you can unzip from the bottom up. Perfect.

I got this for a walking holiday and had to use it every day. It is good at blocking the wind and feels light so if it is raining on a warm day you don't get too hot. The length is brilliant. It also goes back into the little bag easily so easy to carry until needed. The sleeves are a decent length and ai have long arms so this can be a challenge usually. It definitely works in light rain. It can take moderate rain for a short time but not for extended time. And in heavy rain I was soaked through so only good for light rain.

OMG!! This cheap and cheerful ultra light spray jacket just might be my top purchase of the year!! (It’s the simple things in life that make you happy). As a dog walker and outdoor enthusiast I often face a spot of rain when least expected. This super stylish light weight jacket packs down small so you can pop it in your day bag for emergencies (yes, they even included a breathable carry bag for it!). The design is great with pull/tightening cords around d the waist (on the inside for a more tailored look on the outside) and pull cords on the hood to ensure it doesn’t get blown off in windy conditions. Good interior and exterior pockets. Looks smart. Great length - mid-thigh. Fantastic price. Very comfortable, no lining so perfect for showers in the warmer months. Dries quickly. Very happy with my purchase!

Got this for the car as it’s so compact in the bag. Works pretty well. Fits snuggly. Nice length. I wear it over me and the baby in the sling to keep us dry. Good value fair amount of protection from the wind and rain. Gets clingy when wet but never found a Mac that doesn’t. Keeps the edge off the cold and isn’t rough against the baby either

I was looking for a raincoat that I could wear at work as sometimes I have to stand outside in drizzle for half an hour or so. I didn't want a water resistant one but a proper plasticky one that doesn't absorb water at all, after the rain gets a bit too much. Problem was when I searched for raincoat on Amazon, I get a lot of search results which are of fleece jackets and the like which are treated with a water repellant coating, and that's not what I want, because I know from years of experience that any water repellant coating on jackets will eventually wear off 1 or 2 years down the line. So I wanted a true, plasticky raincoat that stays waterproof without having to worry about any water repellant coating wearing off. This does the job, and it looks good to boot. Yes it doesn't have a lining so really isn't like a high end rain coat, but you get what you pay for, and I think the price is reasonable for it doing exactly what I want. I am usually a size 6 clothes size but found the XS too small for my liking. I can still fit in it even with the zips up, but it just looked overall a bit too small for me and just doesn't look quite right on me. The S looks so much better on me and I know it would accomodate clothing layers underneath. So personally I would recommend you buy S if you're a size 6. I would only recommend XS to a size 4.

Decent but wouldn't buy again. Bought for wet dogwalks and it does keep you dry. However, material does not seem very breathable I get too hot in it, no air holes under arms as with a lot of raincoats. Slightly oversized, and sleeves are long. Still haven't found a raincoat with a hood that doesn't drive you mad because you can't see. Even with adjustable elastic this covered my eyes. Would also say too expensive, it's nice but basically a pac a mac.

Light weight and nicely fitting with a better length than a lot of ladies rainwear. Can pack away into a pouch for travel or storage. Liked it enough to buy another in a different colour. Good if it's just raining. Then went out in rain and wind - although the hood has a draw string, it's huge. Need a peaked cap to keep the hood from falling over my eyes to be able to see where I'm going. If the hood isn't being used (due to wearing a baseball cap), the wind will still blow it over my head, and any rain it has collected has then poured it down my neck. Have tried turning the hood inside out, and am thinking about cutting it off!

Great lightweight jacket that is finished well and folds to a small size for slipping on your bag. I haven’t been out in heavy rain yet, but the seams are taped and the fabric definitely water resistant. Good length.

Ordered size 12 and received size 16 which was too large. The material was thinner and see through so didn’t quite look like the pictures. I returned it and got an immediate refund. Thanks Amazon for a great return procedure.
