Q: Is this 106 a shock? Or a pair?

Two years ago I paid 160. for a pair in yellow, They sent me one black and one yellow. They work well and its a good thing that they are hidden due to the two colors.

Q: When I had the old shocks off, it took everything I had to compress them. These new ones have like no pressure. Car is bouncy now. Did I get a bad set

If you recently had installed new shocks in your vehicle, new shocks in your car shouldn't bounce more than 2 times. Good and especially new shocks should stabalize after you simulate going over a bump by pushing down the vehicle and seeing bounce back up once and stay in position after that. It should not bounce more than 2 or 3 time as if you had no mono tube to stabilize it. It could be possible that you gotten a bad pair. You can check them by removing 1 or both and pushing down the piston on the ground and see if the pistons go back into place to know if there is any pressure or not in them. that's 1 way of telling if they're bad or not. I bought them in pairs but heres the kicker, They sent me one black one and one yellow one, Same shock different color. I used them because it was on a Lincoln Town Car and you couldnt see them except for being directlu under the shock.
