It's awesome
For the person who always wanted to see them live but never had that chance. This is awesome and well worth the money! Perfect for any Cranberries fan.

I have version 1 and see only minor problems with it
When people say it is hard to navigate, they are right. But it is also easy to get used to. It's like one of those interactive DVD games where the directional button is the selection button. It gives you four options, up, down, left and right, and plays interactive video rather than having a menu. I don't know why they formatted it like this, but once you get used to it, it's easy enough to use.Now on to the content. There is loads of content on this DVD. Music videos and other live performances are included with the concert, along with interviews with the band/crew members on what touring is like. There are also a couple slideshows, which are pretty useless, but it's nice to have them there. The audio is mastered wonderfully and synced perfectly. One of the best parts of the concert is the crowd, they are really enthusiastic during the entire thing, fueling the band's energy and performance throughout the show. Incidentally, the song that the crowd reacts the least to is the only song they didn't write. The cinematography is extremely well done, as well as the editing of the shots. If you can get past the slightly annoying menus, you will love this DVD.

An Irish Banshee's wail
Dolores O'Riordan fronted The Cranberries with such an indelible performance. We shall ne'er see the likes of her again.

You WILL want to catch them live....
My wife and I have been fans of The Cranberries since we heard "Dreams" during an episode of "My So-Called Life." My wife called that the "swirly song" since it featured Claire Danes staring into the air with teen angst while the camera "circled" around her. Later, the Irish tourist board featured a vacation film showing someone on the Carrick-a-rede salmon bridge in Northern Ireland (same song, same camera effect). We ended up touring Ireland a few years ago, and made a point to see the bridge for ourselves. My point is that not only does this band succeed in conveying meaningful social commentary, but they also provide atmospheric tones that transcend the lyrics. Watching them live on this DVD reinforces this effect all the more.Dolores is simply mesmerizing! The sound quality (on my surround system at least) is fantastic and the camera angles are subtle but not dull, like some concert footage.

Dolores O'Riordan; enough said!
Several years ago, I heard "Linger" for the first time. I still, and will forever, remember how the song moved me. It's very much the same with any Cranberries song, in no small part because of Dolores' vocals and raw passion. Listening to the band is truly moving; being able to see them as well is awe-inspiring. Fantastic DVD, highly recommend!!

Fantastic entertainment
I'm fairly new to the Cranberries, but "The Cranberries - Beneath the Skin - Live in Paris" is an eye-opener to what I've been missing. Dolores O'Riordan performs before a massive live audience in Paris, and she leads her band members on a performance that makes the DVD viewer both feel like they are there, and also wish that they actually were there. Dolores exhibits casual confidence, musical talent, engaging charm, and outright sexiness in this performance before a very appreciative audience in Paris, France in late 1999. Dolores' male band members can be seen showing signs of admiration for their band leader. And ladies - there is something here for you, too. During "Zombie", drummer Fergal Lawler completely shucks his shirt to complement some lively bareback drumming.

I am so happy that I found this wonderful Cranberries concert on DVD.
I love Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries' outstanding singer/songwriter)! I often fall asleep listening to her wonderful songs performed in her lovely Irish brogue. In this great concert, recorded in Paris in 1999, an audience of thousands is mesmerized by Dolores. I am so disappointed by 21st century music (so far) that I am revisiting great artists from the golden age of rock. I am so happy that I found this wonderful Cranberries concert on DVD.

The best of Irish
"Did", have a bootleg copy of this event(such was my keenness in seeing this concert), but didn't feel comfortable in viewing it, andure enough the genuine article did have a better sound!Recently ordered "live in London" thru Amazon.com, and hoping like hell the playlist isn't too much same!To me Doloresw Riordan is a Sassy gal who kicks ass! I will always have time for the best of Irish music Beneath the Skin is "must have" for any complete collection of music DVD's!

One of those times I wish I could Time Travel......
I only came across The Cranberries about 3 weeks ago on YouTube With some videos from the Paris concert and thought ‘Zombie’ and ‘Promises’ are just incredible. Purchased this DVD to see the whole concert and it is just awesome, Dolores voice, the backing guitarists & drummer just fantastic. - not seen a lead guitarist like that since Pete Townsend of The Who! Then I learnt of the very sad news of Dolores passing and the band breaking up, unfortunately missed that news a couple of years ago as tied up with my own family illness. This is one of those times I wish I could time travel because the people that night had such a blast & I would have loved it. Rest In Peace Dolores because your works are of genius and your voice will last forever........
