The media could not be loaded. Was super easy to use and pretty cheap for what it is, the material seems sturdy and has held up well this past month. Just moved into a new house the guest bathroom needed a faucet bad, this one was a perfect replacement. Fits the new aesthetic I want to switch the bathroom into too! Plus we personally didn’t bother with caulk around it and there hasn’t been any leaks from it. Works great!

This spout will only accept 1 1/16" of copper pipe. The pipe slips into (inserts with a bit of effort) into a plastic tube/fitting which is inserted into a larger tube housing.My pipe was too long and had to be cut down. I also had an escutcheon/flange from the previous spout. So I took the measurement from the outside of this, cut the pipe at 1 1/16" and installed...and it leaked. There was "give" in my pipes behind the shower wall which prevented me from getting the pipe all the way installed in the plastic tube/fitting.I took it apart and pulled out the plastic tube/fitting and installed it onto the end of the pipe stub, being careful to have the part with the rubber gasket facing out so it would seal the water against backflow pressure when the shower was engaged. Then I pushed the spout onto the pipe end and pushed hard with one hand while tightening down on the set screw. With the allen wrench this was awkward but the result was perfect. With the shower on, 100% of the water diverts to the shower head and no more leaks.

My review isn’t as valuable as others because I had to remove the slip on fitting and use this as a screw on, and it didn’t screw all the way to the tile but left a small gap (covered in clear caulk). However once it was put on it looks nice, matches well and works well.I don’t think any of these hold up as long as they should though…I have replaced every few years because the diverter always fails. If anyone knows of a truly long term part…I want it. :)**UPDATED after using a bit** I truly like this tub spout and diverter better than any of the others i have used before. The diverter function is perfect and when i shut off the water, the diverter pull drops by itself (none of the ones i have used before have done so and i've had to force them back down). Really happy with this item.

Defective, unable to keep the part up that allows you to divert the water to the shower head. They immediately resolved the issue, wanted me to ship it back from a local UPS, but refunded me immediately, and gave me 30days to ship it back. I would’ve given them 5 stars for customer service, and 1 for the product itself. Things happen when you mass produce, the product felt decent, not cheaply made, and for the price I still think it’s a good buy.

Easy install. If it doesn't slide on immediately, fine sandpaper will remove corrosion and it will go on.
