I've always wanted to dye my hair but don't like the excessive damage caused by bleaching and dying your hair. This hair colored wax avoids those issues entirely, so I figured I'd give it a try. The wax itself is a vibrant color purple and has a soft, smooth, almost hair gel consistency. It also has a perfume fragrance too it. The hair coloring wax is easy to apply to the hair but messy, so you'll want to wear gloves and a crappy shirt to avoid staining. I have very long, thick hair so I applied it to a section of my hair to test the wax. It was easy to apply and I didn't need too much to get a nice purple color. I was quite surprised how purple I was able to get my hair considering I have dark brown hair. I also liked that once the wax dried I was able to brush through my hair and my hair looked normal but colored. It didn't dry in a crunchy consistency. However, the wax does retain a slight oiliness and the color can transfer to your hands or elsewhere if you rub firm enough. Just something to keep in mind. The container is small. Personally, I'm not sure it would be enough to color my full head of hair, given the extreme length and thickness of my hair (my hair goes down to my upper thigh). You can probably get more value out of the container if you have shorter hair. You may need to buy more than one if you have longer or thicker hair. Overall, I think this wax is a great option to color your hair if you want to test colors out, like to change your hair color frequently, or want something for a costume/cosplay.

Unlike aerosol temporary hair dyes, the manual pumping mechanism is inefficient and cumbersome for practical use. Regarding the blue color, it struggles to be visible on darker shades. While it may perform better on lighter hair, I can't say for certain. It's crucial to shake the bottle vigorously for about a minute before use since sediment tends to settle at the bottom. Ensure that it's fully dissolved in the liquid for the best results. While I personally wouldn’t use this on my hair, it could potentially be an option for kids; though high supervision is essential. It may also perform better on doll hair rather than human hair. One downside is that the paint can stain surfaces, making it tricky to clean if sprayed on items that aren’t easily washable. Although it does wash out well, so caution is advised. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for adult use, but children might not mind the patchy colors and could enjoy the experience.

This temporary hair color wax is a fun and easy way to add one-time color to your hair. Though the product is described as a wax, the consistency is more like that of a watery gel. There is no hold to this product like I expect from a wax or gel, so just know if you need both color and hold for your hair, you will need a second product for the latter. I ordered this in brown which is a coppery red, and to my eye, not brown at all. I was hoping for a more natural look, though the coppery red color is fun. The color was easy to apply using my fingers, though I switched to a paint brush at one point to help with applying to my roots. I didn’t wear gloves when applying it and found I didn't need them, at least with the color I selected. The color washed away completely without any residual staining on my fingers. The wax is damp/wet when applied, and on my hair, dried in a few minutes. My hair was also easy to comb through after it dried with no residue or stickiness. When washing my hair, most of it was completely gone just by rinsing and before using any shampoo. This is really convenient for a one-time hair color, knowing I can easily return to my natural color after one wash. But because of this, I would be mindful of situations where my hair might get wet. For me personally, I wouldn’t feel confident wearing this to an all day outdoor festival since rain is often a possibility. But for parties or indoor concerts, or just to add some fun, I’m happy with this and the variety of colors available.

Das Sevich Farbhaarspray hat einen metallischen, grünen Effekt. Je dunkler die Haarfarbe ist, desto dunkler wird auch das Grün. Bei meinem dunkelblonden Haar wirkt die Farbe wie ein kräftiges Apfelgrün. Vor gebrauch sollte man das 100 ml Spray kräftig schütteln. Die Flasche selbst ist mit ihren 13,5 cm handlich, der Druckknopf gut zu erreichen und praktikabel. Vorsichtshalber sollte man sich ein altes Shirt anziehen oder ein Handtuch über den Schulterbereich legen, damit Kleidung nicht ungewollt grün wird. Möchte man nur einzelnen Strähnen, mach es sich am besten diese in Alufolie zu packen. Durch den feinen Sprühnebel kann man nicht ganz genau die Haare einfärben, es geht immer ein wenig daneben. Die eingefärbten Haare trocknen lassen, bei Bedarf noch mit normalem Haarspray fixieren und schon hat man das gewünschte Ergebnis. Die Farbe lässt sich einfach und schnell auswaschen.

La bouteille est petite, mais j’en ai eu assez pour quatre applications (deux journées d’application sur deux têtes, comme sur la photo, une légère touche de rose amusante ). L’odeur est très agréable et le produit ne laisse pas les cheveux « grichoux ». La tenue est bonne tout au long de la journée. Il peut légèrement déteindre sur les tissus, mais tout disparaît parfaitement après un lavage normal. Je le recommande pour les enfants, il est sans gâchis facile d'utilisation et je rachèterai ce produit pour le plaisir d’une utilisation ludique avec eux.
