We’ve been using the Buydeem steamer along with the extra double stack (sold and reviewed separately) for about a month without any problem. We really love everything about it; it really makes our lives much better by giving us so many more choices for daily meals. The quality is good from how everything is packaged to how the steamer is built and operated. It is designed like the Apple products in the electronics world; the appearance looks premium from top to bottom. It’s very easy to set up, and you can always fill in the water after you prepare all the food plates in the stack. You can tell how much water is needed from the sideview window with min and max water line. Unlike some other electrical pots with endless and confusing options and combinations, this steamer is very intuitive and simple to operate. The timer starts after the water is brought to boil, which is great. Take a look at the video posted along this review for a quick walkthrough. Overall it saves us so much time and opens up a whole new world for our every-day meals! Our favorite is steaming live fish with seasoned soy sauce- this steamer brings out the same dish that can easily costs $50 at a restaurant! The steamer also comes with two glass stew pots that are perfect for congees, swallow nest soups, or any other type of soup or stew. A couple of tips from using this steamer for a month; we use it almost every other day: 1. As cautioned by the instruction manual, do not try to lift the bottom water reservoir by holding the water inlets! 2. If you are used to the traditional steamer on stove (especially gas stove), do expect a few more minutes than you would have set with the traditional steamer. These stew pots are great, I use it to steam my oatmeal everyday . The replacement works perfectly, and the quick delivery is appreciated. The representative name April was incredibly helpful in resolving my issue.

It works great by now. The size is exactly what we need. My concern is how long it could work, hopefully years.

Absolutely a good product. We bought the steamer a while ago and found out it was super easy to use and clean, makes us thinking why don't buy it earlier! The steamer have six different modes which suit for most family usage scenario, also it let you setup the timer and provides warning beep after the time is up, which makes everything under control(previously we burnt a steam wok:( ) Also the steamer heats pretty quick, my personal measure told me it took only around 3mins to bring the water to steam hot(with the concentration plastic ring in the picture for sure), usually using the stove it will need at least 8mins to steam hot the water or even longer. My personal favorite part of Buydeem steamer is the designer of its lid, the shape is super helpful when you try to make some buns, the water will not directly drop to the bun surface! Previously I have to be super careful of my old steamer lid since I don't like my bun to be too moist on the surface. Overall a very product with beautiful looking;)

These stew pots are a great addition to the Buydeem steamer. I use them to steam soups and herbal tonics while cooking rice or veggies in the bottom tray. They’re solid, easy to clean, and distribute heat evenly. Great for prepping meals in batches or warming up food for pregnancy nutrition routines! It is perfect for pregnant Asian woman like me so easy to use this to cook. Yummy Chinese food.
