Tramontina 80116/022DS Gourmet 18/10 Stainless Steel Induction-Ready Tri-Ply Clad Covered Sauce Pan, 2-Quart, Stainless

This is a very very well constructed pan. Feels quite premium. Tramontina is seen more as a budget brand in the west, but by Indian standards the price may seem premium. Nevertheless the quality of construction holds its own against similarly priced items from Stahl etc. My only complaint is that there is no rim or spout to aid with the pouring. If you are trying to pour tea etc and the saucepan is more than half filled, you might fine it difficult to prevent spillage - capillary action and all that!

Robust. Thick triply sheet. Quality product la de la creme. The shape, cookability, ease of cleaning, scrubbing are all great. Nothing spills out making it a Paisa vasool product with lid.

Been waiting for a straight sided, rimless, no spout, triply saucepan for ever. Works beautifully. The two litre is a ATK top pick and is great for quinoa, sambar and even rice. Tramontina is a Brazilian company and I wish this had been made there, but it is made in China.

It doesnt balance and the handle is slippery

this is a very nice pot. the tri-ply is pretty standard on any decent pot/pan so the heating is good without getting a really pronounced hot spot on the bottom. the heft is really nice and has a really good feel to it. the handle is hollow and doesnt get as hot as a solid handle does and the handle is riveted on, like on higher end cook wear. this is my goto pot for everything that will fit in it. great for reheating left overs since microwave use is now being deemed as a risk. i use a lot of other more expensive cook wear...dont think i can name names on a review without it getting rejected, so ill just say that the quality of this pot is on par with any more expensive brand. the durability is great and the 2 quart size is perfect. i have been using a 1.5 qt pot and it is a bit small and the 3 qt is too big...this pot definitely hits the goldilocks zone. (if your not a gen x, that means that this pot is "just right" in its form and function would highly recommend

Totally NONSTICK - I was cooking an omelet on the hot burner; I forgot to monitor its progressive cooking; well, it burnt and the bottom of the omelet that was totally burnt JUST LIFTED AND DROPPED OUT without any sticking particles, clumps or residues. Therefore, this is the best sauce-pan I have ever owned. CAVEAT - Don't use metal spoons or spatulas, but always, either wood or vinyl. Otherwise, its non-stick surface will be needlessly and permanently damaged. Highly recommended without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion. Thanks. L.

We are happy with this saucepan. I wanted something between the 1 quart and 2 quart Revereware saucepans that I've been using for over 55 years- yikes! Now we had the option of ceramic non-stick. I love the way oatmeal just slides out of the pan instead of sticking and burning as in my stainless pans. It's wonderful for making gravy. We use silicone spoons and whisks and are careful. Nevertheless, a few tiny pinpoints of missing coating have appeared over the year we've had it with use at least a couple of times a week, but they haven't interfered with performance. But that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I fear that there will be more wear and tear in future and that it won't last 55 years. Ha! I won't either! Oh, and the handle is very comfortable and stays cool.

I love our Tramontina stainless steel cookware! Very high quality, stick-free and great to use with induction stove top. They have been making cookware over a hundred years. You can trust the brand. They have great customer service. You can get them looking like new with bar Keepers friend or vinegar.

Perfect size for so much. The Tramontina set I bought had a 1.5 qt and a 3 qt pan. The 2 qt size is much more useful sometimes.
