This product smells like the penguin house at the zoo. It smells super fishy, but dirty fishy with a hint of urine. It tastes almost the same as the way it smells but with a sweetness that masks the taste some. To be very clear, there is no taste of crab meat. The texture of the shell is like eggshells and sunflower seed shells mixed. I'm disposing of this product because it's not to my liking or even bearable. You win some you lose some. I tried it because of a person I follow on IG who seems to really love these. She can have my pack because I don't want it. Absolutely positively and negatively NO!! 04/20/2025

I love crab and was looking forward to this dried snack. It did not smell good and tasted even worse. I tried them and didn't like them. Put them away for a few days and tried them again. This may be an acquired taste but it was horrible and I tossed the entire bag into the trash. Even my cat did not want to eat one. The only positive thing I can say is the crunch factor was satisfying but the overwhelming and not in a good way, fishy taste made this a lesson learned. Some things are not meant to be eaten and this is one of them.

I never want to yuck someone else’s yum you know. You are eating a whole crab, shell and all so the texture is as expected, once it’s chewed into really small pieces it’s like eating egg shells or chewing sand. The smell is also as expected, yes, fish food is what it smells like because most fish food is ground crab and/ or shrimp but in reality that’s what crab smells like if it didn’t come to you drown in butter and Cajun seasoning. The seasoning was sweet but not spicy, you’re meant to taste the crab not just the seasoning. This isn’t for everyone but the quality was good, packaging was reasonable and responsible. I cannot eat them again but that’s my personal preference and nothing negative about the product itself.

I enjoyed the crunch of this product. It has a sweet seafood taste as it should because it is crabs. I would prefer it in a tangy or mild spicy instead of the sweet. I did suffer with Covid at one time and my smell did not fully recover. So I did not smell a heavy smell but could tell this is not a snack you want to eat if you want to be around people. I would not purchase this again because I did find it to sweet. I would if I could find it in Tangy or mild spicy.

I absolutely love Dried shrimp and Absolutely love anything like this. Even had dried fish. This is entirely something different. U will not even be able to guess what these taste like and I promise on God and everything that this is not good. Initial bite it is very crunchy Whitch is nice. And sweet Whitch is a coating they put on the shells. But what about the inside? That's what matters right? Well once u get through the crunch and the sweetness u are hit with the fishiest taste u will ever taste. I'm not overreacting, I eaten strait dried out baby fish and these still taste almost triple as fishy. Not even any bit of crab flavor. Just ocean. These are the most disgusting Crab snack I have ever tried. Do not buy these. I threw them in the trash.
