After flying the Nihui NH010 and being unimpressed with the lack of power, battery life, and flying stability, I was curious if the BumbleB Whoop PRO would be worth it since it is double the price.DesignAt first glance, you would think these two drones came off the same assembly line. However, after looking closer, I discovered why there was such a huge price difference. First, the frame on the Nihui is thin, and the support around the propellers is almost non-existent. In contrast, the BumbleB plastic frame feels stronger and has a “T” shaped reinforcement, enabling it to survive more crashes (see photo).BatteryMost of the Whoop drones, such as the Nihui, include one 150mAh battery with only 1 kind of battery connection. The drone can fly about 8 to 10 minutes before requiring a recharge.The BumbleB supplies two 260mAh batteries and is more versatile, with 3 kinds of battery connections. This drone can fly for about 12 to 15 minutes before requiring a recharge.TechnologyThe BumbleB drone adds many features that improve your flying experience, such as altitude hold and home return. I found the altitude hold to be very impressive. All smaller drones require small corrections, but the Nihui required constant corrections, while the BumbleB did a great job at hovering. However, I found the home function to be worthless. The drone is only able to fly backwards, with no sense of direction. The user must intervene or the drone will crash.MotorsIn my opinion, the motors on the Nihui are way underpowered. After doing a stunt, the drone would drop more than 10 feet before it recovered. The BumbleB must have stronger motors, since I did not have this issue while flying it.ControllersThe BumbleB’s controller is a bit larger and feels more comfortable to hold. The joy sticks can be replaced with a different pair, which is included. The BumbleB has built-in functions on the joystick instead of adding the two buttons on the top of the controller.ConclusionThe 2 batteries (each with about double the mAhs of the Nihui’s), a superior frame, the added altitude hold, and better motors made flying the BumbleB a lot more enjoyable. I felt it was worth the extra money.

The BumbleB Whoop Pro has exceeded my expectations in just about every way. It is fast, nimble and agile but not so much that it is difficult to control. It is an awesome little machine for the price and the performance is fantastic. The controls are very responsive, no delay and no lag. This is a great drone for anyone looking to learn how to fly or just fly around the house for fun. The auto hover makes it easy to control and operate. It is almost impossible to crash due to the large prop guards which makes it perfect for beginners. It also seems very durable.The controller is easy to pair to the drone after that you are ready to fly. Make sure to buy at least one or two extra batteries and the charger to charge them all up at the same time. You'll significantly increase the time you get to fly which means more practice and more fun. Trim your Whoop as needed to correct for drift in any one direction, small adjustments are key. After that you should be all set!

Great little altitude hold quad. Fun to fly..

I have given up on drones a couple of years back because they were so hard to fly and some of the drones with the same design as this Whoop Pro still have that issue. This one has altitude hold (aka "hover mode") where it keep the drone afloat in the air and you dont have to fight the pitch to keep it from crashing. With barely any experience in flying drones, I felt pretty comfortable flying around my home roughly in 30 minutes with this unit.Pros:-Pretty durable: Crashed it a couple of times, (some were somewhat hard) stuck to the sofa, dog knocked it out of the sky a few times... Still flying and no noticeable damage that affects the performance.-2 batteries: Its great to fly with one while the other one is charging. The battery drains faster than it charges but it still shortens the time between flights with 2 batteries-Extra parts: A set of propellers and a screw driver is supplied with it.-Camera ready: If you pop open the canopy, there is a plug in play cord for a camera.-Strong motor: Visually, the motors does look larger than some of the other whoop models. You can tell with the stability of the flight.-3 speed function: If you click on the left stick, it changes the speed mode... 3rd speed option is crazy fun!Cons:-It takes 3x AAA batteries for the controller: Honestly, it was my fault for not paying attention but I assumed it took only 2x and bought a 2x pack of AAA batteries.Conclusion: You wont be disappointed if want a starter drone or something you just want to have fun with. Yes it is a little pricey for a whoop style drone as other companies offer it for less $$$ but the extra $$$ is definitely worth it!

The Bumble B Whoop Pro is a lot of fun to fly and the controls are terrific because both left and right joysticks have return to center which means you have tighter control on the drones flight pattern.I now have 6 of these drones, 12 batteries and nearly 1 hour of uninterrupted flight time. Money well spent for sure.I rate this a +10.
