I brought this product to make home schooling more fun for my five and six year old
I brought this product to make home schooling more fun for my five and six year old, and within seconds of opening it they were sitting very focussed playing with it, without me telling them to do so, which is probably the highest praise I can give these! The magnets are strong enough to hold the pieces together, but not so strong that they're difficult to turn or pull apart and rearrange. Right now we're just working on plus and minus, but I like that there are division and multiplication options as well for the future. The rainbow colours and magnet aspect make it fun for the kids, and it's light-weight and portable. The only thing I would change is the size. From the picture I thought they would be larger, so the equation would be visible from farther away. It isn't a big problem--you can clearly see the numbers when holding it in your own hands, it just wouldn't work being held up for kids to look at from any distance. For a tool for kids to work on their own at their desks, at their own pace, these are perfect. And a two pack for the price is terrific!

High quality and strong magnets
My daughter loves it! High quality and strong magnets. Nice gift for children who are starting to learn math. The only problem is its size. It is rather small. I wish the manufacture can make it 7-8 inches tall and I do not mind to pay extra $10 for the bigger one.

A handy math tool and toy
My 5 yo daughter likes it. The package comes with two sets. The good news of this is to allow my daughter making longer may equations and with more digits. The small size is acceptable to our Asian hands. But I would say it's pretty tiny.

Very small toy
I guess I should've read the item description more closely. It's a lot tinier than I'd expected.

my boy enjoys it
I bought this little toy for my 8-year-old son to practice basic math skills such as add, subtraction, multiply, etc. We first tried single digits. He randomly chooses two numbers and operations, then give the answer. Once he finished all the combinations of single digits, he starts double digits. It's more challenging, especially for the multiplication. Surprisingly he worked on these problems patiently. It's like a puzzle for him to solve. Of course we offer a reward once he cracked it. Since they are magnetic, my son also played it as a toy, each piece moving around by the magnetic force. We had good time playing with it.

It’s junk!
What a piece of junk and a misleading ad! It looks like it’s nice and big and something fun for the kids to play with and learn at the same time. NOT! It’s like 1 1/2” long. My kids would have trouble moving the numbers; if the numbers moved ! I’m returning this and hoping amazon watches they’re description of items more closely. I spend too much money on this site to be bothered returning items due to misleading pictures and/or information.

Just What I Needed for Math Help
This was just what I needed to help explain some math facts to my children aged 6 and 8. This helped them count backwards from 100 with ease. It helped foster a love for numbers as this magnetic toy is really fun. They play with it often. The only downside is the toy breaks apart if dropped. Unfortunately, it gets dropped more than I would like. But this does not detract from its awesomeness.

VERY SMALL.
This is TINY. I thought it was something that kids hands would easily be able to use. Very small. Disappointed.
