Still good but as a Merrell moab owner of some years can tell number 3 isn't as good. Can't quite put my finger on why. The sole is narrower by about 5mm. It was hard to get the size right this time but with moab 2 my size fitted like a glove.

Really comfy. I just got mine yesterday and wore them to work. At first I was worried about the toe box being a bit too snug but it really wasn’t snug and that was nice that it let my toe spread naturally and weren’t all constricted. Very breathable and pretty durable and feel really sturdy so far. I work on the water. I didn’t notice any water seep into the shoe while washing the tug and barge, or when I walked into any puddles on dock. I can’t wait to take them out on the trails here soon. Also the grey and black ones look like RE5 Chris’ shoes and that’s all I kept thinking about so might buy those and go punch boulders.

I hike. A lot. Was previously a Keen fan until the soles of a couple pair of my shoes delaminated and Keen told me to pound sand. So much for standing behind your products! So I'm now enjoying my Merrells. And amazingly, the soles are staying on the shoe!
