Drywall Master Rendering Render Mesh 50sqm 160g/m2 Coverage 4x4 mm, Fibreglass Alkaline Resistant Reinforcing Mesh, Plastering Crack Repair

My partner sent me on a mission to buy this sort of mesh so I did my research, read the reviews etc (the quality of my newly renovated walls was on the line so I had to) and I got this one as the price was lower than others and it had good reviews. Ever since it arrived (quick delivery too, literally the next day) my partner won’t stop talking about this, about the great quality, sturdiness and about how much he loves this mesh and how easy it was to work with, and how great it turned out. It’s a mesh so I can’t say it gets me pretty excited but he’s in awe of this so as long as he loves it and my walls are being done quickly I’m happy!

I was working on curved walls and found this mesh a little bit softer so was easier to form the work

I used this in my basement on the walls and the floors as part of a tanking project. Post tanking I slurried the walls with 6/1 sand/cement mixed with SBR/Water and applied the Pre-cut fibre sheet. This makes smoothing and levelling so much easier of the render, especially for a novice and prevents cracking. I also use it over Bonding with equal results. 👍😃

This is for reinforcing some exterior rendering on a chimney but I haven't used it yet so can't comment on its effectiveness. However, the good thing about it is that it won't rust or rot and is much cheaper than the alternative stainless steel expanded metal.

Used some this week over some prone to crack areas of brickwork ie@ doorway/windows bricked in and seemed to prove extremely useful and was very easy to butter into a scratch coat of render.
