Well worth the $400
This is not a $200 bike of course, the shipping was $200 as well but for $400, this is a great bike. I'm 210 lbs and this thing moves quick when throttling. The levels are great for pedal assist. The throttle only mode is a lot of fun (tops off at 21 mph-quite fast when your on a bike) but keep in mind, if you want exercise, use pedal assist or no motor assist.Ride is smooth. It's just plain fun. The motor assist is great. I read a review that complained about a hesitation in when the assist kicks in on another brand bike as this happens with this as well so I assume it is by design (another words, if you kick in from level 1 to level 2 but are going down hill, you really don't need motor assist, that's my thinking why anyway). The only issue I have be it a minor one is I wish the control screen where you adjust motor assist was closer to my hand. Instead, there's a horn/light switch where I wished the control screen was. This would help when adjusting motor assist levels on the fly. And no, you can not simply switch them yourself because they are connected electrically and there is zero slack. That being said, I will at least disconnect the horn/light switch and zip ties it back out of the way to a cable away from the handle bar but close enough to be able to still use.Assembly was pretty simple although read the instructions and go in order. I found the instructions to be helpful with just a couple of issues (for instance, I wish the pics were larger and zoomed out a bit). Overall, it took me less than an hour from unboxing to complete assembly. The saddle is not very comfortable but I have bought more expensive hybrid (mountain/road) and I always replace the saddle as I will with this. SO, if you go on long bike trips, I recommend replacing it with a gel or foam type. I have not yet received my new saddle as I just purchased moments ago so I can not recommend one.Yes, Shimano gear shifters and yes, pretty smooth. I keep my bike on the hardest gear level since it has motor assist so I probably won't use them much. I set motor assist to 1 or 2 most of the time unless I just want to have a little more fun and kick in to level 5 and bury the throttle to maximum speed. Since I ride only bike paths, some dirt, most paved, this is actually possible. I live in an area where there are lots of bike paths around so I do not do roads...not anymore!I give this bike 5-stars because of the value and at just under 50 lbs, its light enough as well as build quality which seems really good but I have only taken it out once but for 20 plus miles.Bottom line, it motivates, which means you'll exercise more, it's fun.....I highly recommended.

FUNHANG is a fun hang!
I was skeptical at first because of the low price, but these FUNHANG ebikes (I purchased 2 of them) have really impressed me—solid build, nice quality, easy assembly, fun to ride, clean index shifting, great disc brakes, plenty of power, great battery range, nicely integrated electronics and controls. What really stands out though is their excellent email technical support: super responsive, knowledgeable, and eager to help with a couple minor issues I had. Great value overall!

Good buy for the money
Good packaging but shipping price was a little high. Shipped from NJ to MA so not sure why it cost $190. Box had a few holes but no damages. Easily assembled within an hour. Strong frame. The fenders are little cheaply but effective. The pedal assist is fantastic and the full electric is pretty cool. Easily goes up hills with the assist. I haven’t had it long enough to see the full range or how weight affects it. But for the money you can’t go wrong. Great entry level or just the occasional user.

A bargain!
I've never owned an ebike before, so not sure exactly what I was expecting with the pedal assists feature.I bought this bike in the hopes of getting me back into shape, and in the hopes that it would get my biking muscles and lungs back to where I can conquer the surrounding hills all around my home and area.Well, I am very impressed with this bike and it's pedal assists features. It truly helps the rider traverse long and steep hills with a significantly less effort. So, the rider still gets a good workout, without all the pain and agony of an all human powered Hill climb. This bike came very well packed and in a very robust box. The bike is over 50lb, so lifting it out the top of the box may not be doable for many people to do it alone. It comes mostly assembled, but what's left to assemble may be a bit challenging for those not mechanically inclined. There's always the option of paying a bike shop to do this for you, which is probably ideal for the sake of safety in a properly assembled bicycle.I have a lot of experience working on bicycles, but by the time I was done assembling and fine tuning everything to my preference, it still took well over an hour from start to finish. The battery was still nearly fully charged, out of the box. I did a quick test run and everything worked perfectly!I've now had the bike for a couple of weeks, and I could already tell that my body is getting stronger at cycling, again. Less pain and soreness and I'm getting more and more comfortable with the bike's handling and my own road cycling mentality. For the overall quality of this product, the total cost of just over $400 is truly impressive, and an absolute bargain!
