Best sights everππππππ
The picture is the slants but they are the ledges. I can't tell ya how much I love these sights. My target acquisition speed is much faster and my accuracy. These sights give you the benifit of both, speed and accuracy. I have these on my vp9 700 hundred rounds love them more every time I shoot, and getting another set for my p30sk. Worth every penny. If you like shooting with both eyes these are the sights for you. Thanks heinie for providing these sights.

Not made to factory specs!
I bought these sites for my HK45C. This has not been my first time installing sights. Additionally not my first time installing sights on an HK.These sights took a lot of sanding, filing and elbow grease to install. It literally was an over 1 hour project. The sites instruction say some fitting required. Well it was a lot of fitting required.definitely not a job for a hobbyist. That being said, they are beautiful and Heinie ships them rocket fast. Great seller..

Not recommended for hard use.
I had a set of Heinie Slantpros on another HK so I decided to put some of the "new" EZ Lock Ledge sights (which are NOT the sights in the picture) on an HK45C. After about 100 rounds, the rear sight came loose and almost fell out of the slide. Heinie cut the rear sights too small and uses set screws to advance a plate in the bottom of the sight, which causes friction/tension against the slide cut - mine were set with Blue Locktite. Not recommended, unless you never shoot your pistol. The Slant sights shown in the pic do NOT use the same friction/tension "bar" in the rear sights but with the downside that you couldn't one-hand rack the slide with them.Love the sight picture of Heinies but the EZ Lock sight needs a redo. Too bad the company refuses to admit there is a problem.

Awesome
I have not shot this weapon with these sights but I like the way my eye is drawn to the front sight. It works well in low light sue to the tritium as well. I installed these on my P30L and I am not an armorer. Key is to go slow and use proper tools.

Not satisfied this time
Bought Heine straight eights for Hlocknpreviously and loved them, so I bought same for my VP9. Very disappointed this time. The impact point is way too low for any ammo/load I was able to try. Also rear sight did not stay tight. Back to factory sights.

Unacceptable!
I Bought these for my new HK45. These are nicely made sights and the machining looks to be high quality, however there are some serious flaws. The dovetails are not machined to fit the HK dovetails. These sights slip into the HK dovetails without ANY resistance, and rely on TINY set-screws to hold them in place. BAD IDEA. Set Screws should only be supplemental! Belt and Suspenders! Then to add insult to injury, the set screws are so tiny, that the hex sockets strip out on them once you apply the slightest amount of torque! And even then, the sights are FAR from being secure on a combat pistol! I still tried to use them. I torqued them down and used blue locktite. Sights still drift with a minor knock. I can drift the front sight with the pressure from my thumb. This is a combat pistol!!! I put the original sights back on the pistol the same night. IF ONLY they made the dovetails correct so they could be PRESSED into the slide, then I'm sure I'd LOVE these sights!

Fast on target.
I have a similar version for my Dan Wesson 1911, so I bought these for my VP9. I love them. I have two HK45s (compact and full size) and I'm considering them for these guns as well as they are the tactical versions and I feel the height will clear my SilencerCo Osprey.
