For best results, turn the pencil gently 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. I got two different colors. Ambition Statement is cute. It more of a deep peachy color, definitely not nude. Global Citizen it nearly the same shade as my lips which I love. The only thing I am not loving is the pencil casing. It’s a little hard to sharpen and it tends to brake the product, thus wasting it faster.

Amazing!

I'm now buying my 3rd shade because they're so good. I read often that consumers complained about the pencil being hard to sharpen. I too have a cosmetic pencil sharpener and it works perfectly fine. If you have trouble, try and pop the pencil in the freezer for a few minutes and invest in a new sharpener.
