Blew me away!
Alice The Wonderland Oracle is a 45 card oracle deck by the prolific oracle author Lucy Cavendish and artist Jasmin Becket-Griffith. The deck was originally published in 2018 by Blue Angel. Lucy and Jasmine have been frequent collaborators including the Oracle of Shadows and Light (2012), Oracle of the Shapeshifters (2013), Les Vampires (2014), The Faerytale Oracle (2016), and Alice the Wonderland Oracle (2018).I am a huge fan of both Lucy and Jasmine, and I remember my excitement when the Oracle of Shadows and Light was announced in 2011. Though I have collected the decks I have to admit that I really did not use them until I purchased Alice the Wonderland Oracle. This deck blew me away, which is not easy as I have always been more of a Tarot person not an Oracle person. I wanted to get into doing daily draws and journaling, which with Tarot just never worked with me, so I thought I could put my oracles to use for this purpose. I have now been working with this deck for 2 months straight, every day, and this deck is simply amazing. Of my many Lucy Cavendish decks (with and without Jasmine’s art) this is my favorite. The first thing I love about it is that ties into the original Lewis Carol Alice in Wonderland and Looking Glass, and even uses quotes from the original books. This is not a sweet and fluffy deck, it addresses the light, the shadows, and everything in between. It is a perfect metaphorical lens to look through and work through the challenges we face in our daily living as Alice did in Wonderland. It can point things right out to you, but also lift you up and motivate you to make changes, encourage you to take action and/or reflect. It truly holds up a mirror for you to look into and walk through. That is why I love this deck so much, it has the good, the bad, the foolish and the ugly. The companion book has good information in a concise manner. It starts with a description that you can apply to your question, a divinatory meaning and a reversed meaning. The deck uses reversals, and I highly recommend using them. This deck is truly helping me walk through a dark time in my life with courage and I can see me using it daily even when I get to the other side of what I am going through. She has truly become a best friend, and it did not take more than a few days to establish this connection with her.One of the criticisms I have heard is that the deck includes art from early to current Jasmine art, so yes you do see differences in the art style. I thought this would detract me, but I was wrong. In the world of Alice it works. I also love that some of the cards include backgrounds inspired by Bosch, which are a bit disturbing and uncomfortable, just like some situations in our lives, and Alice keeps going and adapting just like we have to or should. Often times this is the shadow rearing up showing us parts of ourselves we would rather ignore; other times it is about pushing through with courage despite a situation being uncomfortable, or opening your eyes to things not being as rosy as we want to think they are. Some of the simpler art, takes me to looking at things at face value or in a simpler way. There are other cards with backgrounds inspired by Monet and Van Gough, and some that are simply pure Wonderland. Working with these cards you work through various landscapes which can serve as great metaphors for emotions, issues, and situations.Since connecting with this deck it has also helped me be able to connect more with other Lucy/Jasmine decks, so that is a total bonus effect I did not expect. Like I said I just could not use those decks before, loved the author and the art but they just did not click for me before. If you are an Alice in Wonderland fan I would say get this deck. If you want a deck you can use everyday, for general purposes, or if you want to explore any shadow work this deck is great for either or both. This is not a deck aimed at children or teenagers, it is very suitable for mature adults. Lucy’s passion and understanding of Wonderland combined with Jasmine’s art is truly something special.

A Wonderful and Whimsical Deck
I am a collector of Oracle and Tarot Decks and do readings for myself. I had to get this adorable deck and since I am a fan of Jasmine Beckett Griffith, this was a big selling point for me.These cards are perfect for a young person but also work for a more mature person, (I am 72 years young). The card stock is a good quality, and the artwork is amazing. The guidebook is helpful but I tend to interpret the cards and images from my own life experience and what I "get" when I see the cards. If you collect or read, these are wonderful, and you won't be disappointed in them!

Where Will The White Rabbit Lead You?
I just received my Wonderland Oracle today, and I've gotta say that these cards are beautifully colorful! I love the little guidebook as well, it's very detailed and gives you a lot of tips on how you can use the cards. I'm an empath and tarot reader that is still learning. I wouldn't consider myself among the higher ups, but I am able to pick up on certain energies whenever I've used new decks. I instantly felt an energetic connection that was both calming and powerful from the moment I opened the box. I also felt that the spreads given in the guidebook will not only help me, but will also help guide my clients on their journey through the rabbit hole, and any other adventures that may cross their paths. I absolutely without a shadow of a doubt love everything about this deck. I've already done a reading for myself and that was the "Down The Rabbit Hole" spread. It was scarily accurate for a first time read. If you're a big fan of Jasmine Becket Griffith's art, and Lucy Cavendish's wisdom, then I highly recommend this deck.

I love them!
This is possibly my favorite oracle deck. The images and guidebook work well together, and I find them easy to connect with.

Oh how I love this Deck....
Let me count the ways! Some things are so perfect they just speak for themselves when you hold it in your hands and look at the detail, grasp the thought and feel the positive energy that went into it and know that every element of it was beautifully inspired. I was looking at each and every card and paused few minutes longer on the elemental card contemplating a question I had about a recent item I acquired. I flipped through the book and noted that there are reversals which to me just gives more options or perhaps a more in-depth look into to a question. However, I don't think using the reversals is a must to use if you don't like them. Then I gave them a good gentle shuffle and the first card that flipped out was the elemental card and I feel my initial question was answered.Still only thinking about buying this deck? Christmas is just around the corner.
