Easy on the Back
I'm in love with this mop. My husband cooks in the kitchen a lot for friends. I cannot keep up with the cleaning. It's really hard on my back and energy, so much so that I have to do the kitchen floor across two days. It always was dirty. Stuff was stuck on that I just could not get up without getting down on my hands and knees - but I cannot due to age and health issues. I was using one of those squirt mops. It was so difficult to get anything off, and you'd have to use it immediately after a spill to keep things clean, if you want the easiest cleanup. Then I got this mop. This mop is like using a vacuum across the carpet. It's that easy. It's easy on the back, and I can do my floor quickly, even when it was at its dirtiest when I first got the mop. Once it's assembled, it nearly instant to heat up - very quick. It does make a little noise - don't be alarmed. Then you're off to steaming your floor clean, with no chemicals. There's a medium and high steam setting. I set mine to high because of the stickiness, grease, and messes, but the medium setting works pretty good too. It makes the floor warm and puts out some steam to clean. It's not hot to walk on. Shoes are suggested, probably because your floor is wet and you can slip. If you wear shoes, make sure they're anti-skid, and not something like flip-flops. I'm so happy to have a clean and neat kitchen floor now. After my husband was done cooking this week (after he splattered a tray of sticky sauce and half-cleaned it) I went in with this mop and the floor was clean again in no time. My first mop didn't work properly and I had to send it back. The second one, the water door latch doesn't close after the first time it was opened. I wanted to return it too, but Amazon offered me a percentage off to keep it. So I decided to do that. The mop works just fine and I love it so much, I don't want to return for a pristine mop. This mop has been on a great sale, and what a bargain.

Generates plenty of steam! Great cleaning tool.
Bought this Consumer Reports highly rated steam mop to clean tile floors. It cleans well! Our kitchen floor had some gunk tracked it that needed to be scrubbed. The scrub brush and the high steam setting got it all up with some persistence. My only complaint is that I wish the brush was easy to remove for cleaning. I had to clean the gunk out several times before the floor was clean. You get plenty of steam on either the Hi or Low steam settings. The cord is plenty long enough and wraps in the cord holders easily. Use distilled water. The time from ON to hearing steam is less than 30 seconds. The mop is comfortably light weight. Recommend being careful with engineered wood or when cleaning grout. CR does not recommend using steam for real or faux wood despite all of the videos you can find doing it. Could cause buckling is their claim. I used the brush to dig the grout out of our bathroom tile and had to replace it. (Thought it was dirt. It wasn't.). The wider grout in our kitchen was cleaned by the brush with no problem. Again, cleaning grout with aggressive brushing and high steam is not recommended. Otherwise, wish we had bought a Kenmore steam mop a long time ago.

Works ok has a few downfalls
Works well has a nice sized water container. Wish the cord was a few feet longer and the mop area was a little narrower.

This is a great product!
I love this mop! I was researching other options to replace my standard roller mop, and a friend recommended getting a steam mop. This provides a sanitary clean and is very easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend it also for anyone with chronic pain as it takes less physical effort to get a better clean done. Also more environmentally friendly as the mop heads are washable and all you need to make it work is distilled water.

Good little steam mop
Good little steam mop, perfect for a 2 bath, kitchen, diningroom setup since I don't want to drag out a mop bucket and traditional mop. This mop only uses distilled water, but did lift several stains and food items. It also removed some sticky residue from a felt caster on a dining room chair that had scraped off onto the floor. Good device, easy to use and came with two separate fiber pads that are washable. Quality is good and it is easy to use.

Basically Useless
I really wanted to like this item, because it received a good rating at Consumer Reports. But even if you don't have much visible dirt on the floor, all the mop does is wet the dust/dirt and leave it there. It picks up nothing! So you have to bend multiple times to clean up the pockets of wet dirt and dust. And the "dots" of stuck-on dirt on kitchen floors cannot be removed with the mop. I didn't try using the part that looks like a whisk, which I assume is intended for stuck-on dirt because it's too much trouble to change out the mop head! So basically, this mop is useless.

Good quality
Works very well and is so easy to use. Much better than using a swiffer and its little and easy to maneuver

Good Mop, Bad Handle
The Kenmore S200 steam mop is lightweight, well-designed and attractive looking. I bought it because Consumer Reports currently rates it #1 in steam mops, and because I have a Kenmore Progressive canister vacuum from 2002 that still looks and operates as new. Unfortunately, my Kenmore S200 steam mop included a handle that was riveted to the metal shaft at about 30 degrees off axis relative to the set-screw hole in the back, so the top cord hook wouldn’t align with the bottom one, and using it would have been an ergonomic nightmare for my wrist. An agent at Kenmore customer service told me the steam mop seemed to be manufactured incorrectly. The handle cannot be rotated. Instead of sending me a new handle, he advised me to return it to the seller (Amazon). I reluctantly did so, because, even though it wasn’t used and I repackaged it exactly as delivered, using photos I took unboxing it, which is good advice to anyone in case of such an issue, I know that there’s a chance it will be junked. I plan to re-order another Kenmore S200 steam mop, and ask only that it not have no manufacturing defects, because I really like the design. Quality control, Kenmore!

Total waste of time ordering from Amazon sg only to discover this only works on voltage in the U.S. What is the point of putting it on the sg website? Waste of time and returns.
