The strip has the correct size and quantity of lights listed and connections look solid. Both ends of the strip are 4 pin female however, as is connection from the control box. I have no way of hooking it up and verifying the strip actually works until I get some 4 pin male connectors (ordered a pack of 20 today). The missing part was inexpensive but the added wait time and cost is irritating. The remote did come with a battery which is nice.If you assume that by ordering a "kit," the strip will have all necessary parts to function straight out of the box, you may be making a mistake.EDIT: I apologize for the lengthy delay, but the strip was indeed functional once I got the proper part.

Love these great for a desk setup, I have a glass desk and these make it pop, changes like 16 different colors and is a little bright but turns down a bit not something you'd sleep with on lol but deff a good show piece at a nice setup or any other idea for it you may have! one other thing is to just be carful wih it feels like it could break easy! :/ but just be carful!

I too received one of my two sets of lights without the double-sided 4 male prong connector --- even after reading the earlier review.

Great price, like half or a quarter of what I've seen these go for on other sites! Work great and look so cool in my theater room! You can use these for so many cool projects!
