Led light very dim

Not user friendly. We're is the place for batteries

I needed it for cross stitching. The magnifying glass stands out too far to see my work. I have turned it on the edge of the glass since I hold my work against me. I have glued a piece of felt on the edge of the glass so that it won't slide. It's not too comfortable, but I need it to complete this one piece.

This magnifying glass is so handy! I can hold the pattern instead, and it's made my cross-stitch go much faster. Highly recommended.

It does magnify but it is very hard to do needlepoint with it. It keeps moving while trying to see your work.

Love this light, it’s made needlepoint less of a strain & less stressful. It takes a bit of adjustment to find the right height & angle, but this is lightweight and easy to manipulate. I choose this one for the option of setting it on a table if I don’t want it on my neck. It’s not heavy, all the weight comes from the batteries. It’s compact & fits easily in my project bag. The mini 6x magnifier is a bonus, I’ve used it a few times, especially to thread a needle.The light comes from two small bulbs at the base of the neck. If I upgrade I will look for one that has multiple light sources or has light all the around the magnifying window.Based on other reviews, price & function this is a good value.

I loved it until the light started flickering. When I squeezed the battery compartment, the light would brighten up. When I let go it would sometimes stay on, and sometimes would not. The battery compartment is not easy to open. I’ll try changing batteries, but it shouldn’t need new batteries so soon.😕

I think it could have been stronger. I purchased it to do detail crafts. I have found myself using it to read mail and instructions on anything from food products to craft instructions. It works well. Four stars because it is not as bright or as strong as I expected.

A useful magnifier in some ways but the two lights could do with being at the top. With being at the bottom your hand casts a shadow, when using for cross stitch. No instructions for battery insertion but easy to find out how on the internet.

The magnifying glass is generally pretty good over all allowing me to complete my modelling projects including painting small figures to a reasonable standard. The magnifying glass stand appears quite fragile but overall the construction is sound. The glass itself is a good size and gave me the desired level of magnification required. The only downside that I have found is that the package that it arrived in contained no instructions but a short trip onto the internet allowed me to do what I needed to do but I haven't quite fathomed how the light works but I wouldn't really use it anyway.

My Mom thinks it’s great. She can see much better with it.
