Will this product go bad if it isn't all used within 24 hours after removing the seal?

Not if you reseal it (remove and clean the nipple and put a nail or bolt in the tube opening) stick it in a ziplock and put it in the refrigerator. Take it out before next use and let it come up to room temperature or it will be very thick and hard to dispense.

Can this sealant be used to fill in grout between tiles in the shower? Is it hot waterproof?

This a marine and Rv’s sealer for vehicles that requires movement only, not for shower.

Will this adhere a flap down on an (epmd) rubber pond liner? i don’t need it sealed i just want it to stay layer flat.

It does say in the specs that it remains flexible, so it should work. You might have to scuff up the surface a little to give it a little more 'tooth', but see if 3M has anymore information on their site for this product. Have you considered using an adhesive specifically made for epdm? EPDM is used on roofs, so an adhesive should be easily found.
