Very satisfying to use. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews — this device does exactly what it promises. It mops well, reaches under the sofa, is easy to operate, and has powerful suction. The remote-control features work smoothly, and with the app on your phone you can manage everything effortlessly. It might be a bit challenging for people who aren’t comfortable with tech, but overall it’s very user-friendly. The voice assistant is basic (not AI-driven), so don’t expect anything advanced. Also, some accessories can only be purchased from the manufacturer, and those tend to be slightly overpriced.

I've recently tried Switchbot S20, Dreame Aqua 10 and this one (ECOVACS DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI). I was particularly looking for Matter 1.4 smart home support, so I can integrate it with Apple Home and Home Assistant, the X8 has met all of my requirements. Excellent Navigation, vacuuming , mopping, self emptying and mop washing / drying better than the SwichBot or Dreame. I don't think it looks quite as nice as the Dreame Aqua 10, and whilst it's nice to see the level in the tanks it doesn't look so good "on show" in a kitchen etc. My house is effectively on four levels, but it (appears) to only support 3 maps, however I think I should be able to find away around this. Not quite as good at getting over raised thresholds as the Dreame Aqua 10, but I fortunately don't have any high ones. Genuine spares seem quite expensive so I will initially try third party ones. Turned off the voice control, as I only want to use Siri. In summary I highly recommend.

The vacuum cleans very well and does an excellent job on daily dirt and dust. On its first few runs, I was genuinely impressed with the cleaning performance and coverage. However, on a subsequent clean it nearly went straight down the stairs. The drop sensors either failed to detect the edge or reacted far too late, which is concerning from a safety point of view. This is especially disappointing given that the unit is brand new and has only completed a handful of cleaning sessions. I expect the manufacturer’s response may be that the sensors need cleaning, but this should not be necessary on a new product with minimal use. A robot vacuum should reliably detect stairs out of the box. Overall, great cleaning performance, but the unreliable cliff detection is a serious flaw and makes it hard to fully trust using it unattended near stairs.

I am satisfied with the quality/price ratio, but I got it in a deal for 400, and would not pay the full price for it. Good little vacuum and mops quite nicely, I would say it can mop 96% of the surface, but it is never 100%. Almost. Decent sucktion power and the anti-hairtangle roller works most of the time if the hairs are at normal level, but cannot deal with excessive amounts of accumulated long hairs, cause the roll was fully covered up with the tangled hairs when I vacuumed such a carpet. So just mind this, but for normal maintenance regular cleaning, to maintain a normal home's cleanliness where nothing is present in extreme quantities, so normal average circumstances it is perfect. Mind you you should probaly use distilled/deionized water if the water is hard where you are, because you are not supposed to use any descaler products in the system.

Been using it for a week and it’s been great so far. Setup was super simple, everything clicked together easily, and the app made the mapping process effortless. I really like that you can create a map in a different area without having the base nearby. Big plus. Cleaning performance is excellent. No streaks, no marks. I followed other users’ advice and started by vacuuming the carpets first, then doing the mopping run, and that worked perfectly. I still haven’t figured out how to send the robot to clean just a specific zone without selecting the entire room, so that part could be more intuitive. Overall, it’s pretty hard not to love it. Cons: – Doesn’t include any extra dust bags – No cleaning solution in the box

I'll try to be objective, I own the robot for 1 week now. It does a good job at mopping our 40sqm floor but it did disappoint me for many aspects Not great: - not able to clean the carpet in the photo, my previous cheaper robot was able to - once it lost one of the mop while cleaning, but it didn't happen since - It consumes a lot of water, so while it's maintenance free I do have to fill up the water every 3 days. It does consequentially consume a lot of detergent too - it's shocking that is not able to update the map in real time, if you map the floor with one of the doors closed, you have to restart the mapping - the app overall is unnerving to use. Not user friendly, hard to navigate, simple to make mistakes and annoyingly the map cannot be edited while a clean is in progress so I have to remember to do the change when it's done. - when cleaning with AI is not following my instructions to wash the mops every 25 minutes but it does every room. - you cannot restart a cleaning routine while cleaning. The robot must dock first . Good: It mops well and the mop cleaning system is efficient . It is able to reach quite awkward places There are good things of course but at the moment I am monitoring to decide if I have to return it . The UK customer support does seem not great as well, not at least at the same level of other brands

Got to say if you have wood flooring and a tiled kitchen and hallway like i do this is the best thing i have ever bought it hoovers and mops perfectly its so pleasing to wake up to a clean house every morming absoulutely love it

Very impressed with the mop, its suction at the maxim level can aspirate a thick rug , although this will reduce the battery power faster, the mops stop as soon as it detects a rug, quite smart with corners and overall can do a whole flooring with large rooms like mine if battery fully charged and use it with high level of suction and high flow of water mopping. No marks when mopping , the suction can aspirate small stones from my son’s football trainers which is amazing . Containers are so practical you only need to add water and your favourite floor cleaner , I use a lemon one and house smells to a real cleaning .The other container fills up itself with dirty water after the mop self cleans in each cleaning task. You only have to add water to one container and empty the other container of the dirty water . I highly recommend this robot for those like me with busy lifestyle and use your precious free time for other things .. life is too short !
