The shoes are really great, fit well and look really nice. The reason I’m giving it 1 star so people read this and know that THESE ARE NOT CSA certified, for use in Canada, even though some of the comments say they are. I have an email from CSA Group saying so...

So at first I wasn't all that impressed with them on the comfort, but with the right socks and lacing them up a certain way I'm content in them. No steel toe boot can be as comfy and light as some Adidas. At least the boots didn't tear up my feet! That's what matters most to me. At the top of boots, the last loops for the laces, I didn't cross them, I went up through those last loops and then tie knot at the top like normal. It holds the tongue of the shoe in it's place better than crossing the laces through every loop

To be fair and honest I won't buy anything else as long as these boots are still ongoing. If you are working in a desert location or offshore these boots are well worth the money, I had them in Kazakhstan and all the locals wanted a pair so lets say I had to keep a close eye on them. The comfort and strength is great and with the side zipper very very fast and easy to put on and as I said before I won't buy anything else as long as im in my career,great boot.

These boots are light and mostly comfortable. I have had them for less than 90 days and the seam has come undone. I saw a friend today and his are the same way. I did not get it caught on anything, I have done a lot of walking at my job, but that should not make a seam come undone! The inside around the heel has also folded over and I can feel it isn't smooth to stand on. Not sure I would recommend these boots since they don't seem to stand up to daily use. Garth
