TaylorMade SIM MAX Driver, Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 Shaft

Not to repeat my review of the fairway/irons, but this driver blends right in with the other clubs' shaft length, weight, and is a much more consistent club progression for my swing that the first time I used this Driver, I hardly changed my arm/hand positioning and struck the ball of the tee much more consistently, straighter, and generally farther than my earlier Taylormade adjustable head driver. This SIM MAX driver and the matching fairway/iron (graphite shafts) are probably the last set I'll ever need to own, they are so much more consistent and surprisingly the shafts aren't as long as I thought they'd be that I'd need to choke down. I did buy senior shaft stiffness, but these are perfect for me.

This was an upgrade from a Callaway FT-5. Very easy to swing for an oversized driver. I don’t feel or notice the drag that I have with others at all. The sound is much better when hitting. It is definitely more forgiving, but I’m still trying to determine how the distance compares with my old driver when I catch a good one. This goes much higher than my old driver so I’m likely getting more carry but less roll. Overall, glad I made the purchase. I’d recommend going to hit the club in a store first just to be sure.

I purchased the extra stiff shaft with the 10.5 loft, I do swing hard and with a lot of force. The ball comes off really easy with little effort from my swing. It is very forgiving while allowing me to still boom the ball down the fairway. Highly recommend this club if you are interested in adding distance and consistency off the tee box.

Love this driver. It added 30 yards to my drive. I was using an 35 year old Callaway driver and hitting it 215/225. Now my drives are 245/255. New technology really does help. My nut drive so far was 270 and my nut drive with my old callaway was 244. Buy the club if you can afford it. You will like it!

Fast and free shipping to Canadian cities. The driver is cheaper than purchasing within Canada. Took less than a week to receive the driver, Sim driver is brand new in the plastic cover. Would hope they put more clubs on Amazon.com, definitely order again!

Love the club, but figured that would be the case since I have the Sim generation-1 3W. Driver arrived in perfect condition, and the packaging was great, not a scratch on it. Only complaint is that they sent a Sim2 head cover, which doesn't match my 3W's head cover. Wish they had sent the proper head cover, but otherwise, club arrived in perfect condition & on time. Would purchase from this seller again.

I haven’t upgraded my driver in 10 years. So my drives are longer and fewer mis-hits. Club looks fantastic at address and is very smooth to swing. Love all my Taylormade clubs.

This club keeps the golf ball in the middle of the fairway... period ! It’s awesome as well as the distance you’ll gain off the tee !
