Received LED Page Magnifier today. Way earlier than expected which was great bc bought for my 82 yr old mother-n-law who was leaving in a few days.She was trying to read a book w/ reg print while sitting outside (bc the light was better for her) when it came in the mail so she was anxious to use it right away!She has medical issues that cause dizziness 24/7 & sometimes headaches. When dizziness is really bothering her (which is most the time) it affects her eyesight as does trying to read small print especially in dim light. So soon as I cud get batteries in the magnifier (which was easy peezy), she was using it and didn’t put it down for long time. Even if she did start out holding it upside down & sideways but whatever works! Lol. But later, when indoors, I saw she was holding it by the handle w/ 1 hand & lights on! Said she absolutely loved it, the lights and loved the way it made it look like the large print books she reads & was so thankful to have it!!Was afraid it might be too heavy for her to hold for very long but we were pleasantly surprised how light it was and she had no problem w/ it.Later in the evening she was using it inside the house & loved having the dimmable LED lights!!! Was able to read a long time! Whoever wrote the review saying lights were worthless must have been a competitor, didn’t know how to turn it up or had a defective unit bc they’re great!!! Goes from dim to super bright!!!Also loved having the little pocket size magnifier for her purse to read labels at home or store! Nice little magnifier!And yes, for those that had trouble w/ the battery compartment, it is snug, probably cause it’s new but a whole lot better than being loose like some compartments are!! Just pull in direction shown best u can and when get just a crack at the back, u can just use a fingernail or knife to push out on one side then the other & it’ll slip right off!! No prob!!Thank you for such a good solid lightweight product!! Highly recommend!! 5 stars ⭐️’s!!

The item arrived very quickly and I have been testing it by regular use up to now, so this is my straight opinion.I love it.About me - I have always been an avid reader, but failing sight over recent years has increasingly threatened this essential part of my thinking life. Trawling on line for a well thought out reading aid led me to the Magnipros.I found it to be light and pleasingly designed, with a neat battery compartment. The brightness from the 12spaced LED lights in the downward side of the frame, which illuminate the page, is variable by rolling the neat switch at bottom right (very handy for your right thumb). The Magnifier takes in the full page width. By holding the Magnifier at the height you want above the page it is easy to work out what print size is comfortable for you. I found that practice made it possible to make good progress through the book without struggling as I found myself doing before.For later models a future design improvement might be a foldout frame or legs that could be set to ensure that the Magnifier is at the optimum distance away from the page that will suit individual vision capability. This might also be useful in holding the page flat, because hands that are holding the Magnifier have to hold the book as well.But this is just a constructive suggestion and not a criticism of a good and well thought out vision aid.I should have mentioned earlier that it comes at a very reasonable price as well.I have no hesitation, therefore, in recommending this

It is light weight so it is easy to hold in place as you read. It's clear and does not warp the page. It is also anti-glare which works pretty well. I would have liked it in multi choice magnifying degrees. Since I have cataracts it doesn't magnify really small print enough to read easily. All-in-all I am very pleased with this purchase.

I was looking for a lighted magnifier to use when doing embroidery/cross stitch. I wanted it to be easily portable and I didn't want it to be worn on my head. So I bought one at a local craft store that hangs around your neck and rests on your chest. The problem is that the led light was in a horrible position so that when you were stitching your hand was casting a shadow the exact spot you were trying to see! So after lots of research I bought this one. I had to modify it so that it has a strap around my neck, but it's large enough that, when I orient it in portrait position, the bottom edge sits on my chest and I look through the top third at my work. I modified it by doing two things. I used my 3d printer to make a couple of simple loops with flat bases that I glued to the magnifier frame. Then I used some rattail cord to make an adjustable strap that goes around my neck. It took about an hour including designing the loops and making the neck strap while they were printing. (I think the manufacturer should consider selling a kit that would accomplish this modification)I love the size of the fresnel lens. I love that the light is adjustable and comes from all directions. I love its light weight. I only wish I had gotten the rechargeable version. I sit on the couch and use this a lot and I could have just kept it plugged in while I was working, avoiding the issue of the lights getting dimmer while using due to battery drainage.

Cheap, brittle plastic, one drop and it's sure to break. Disappointed! Good design though

After trying at least a dozen lighted magnifiers, I have found this Magnipro fills all my needs. The light (LED) is dimmable and, at the top end, bright enough to eliminate the need for another lamp.The weight is negligible, allowing for plenty of time to read before my hand tires. A slightly wider frame would make this even better.Magnification is accurate, 3x, which works on many kinds of printed material plus pictures.All in all, it's the best product of its kind I have found so far.Three AAA batteries slide into the side plate easily.

Vraiment sympa par contre j’aurais pensé que c’était plus fin et qu’il y aurait une petite housse de protection pour pouvoir le transporter sans risque dans un sac!
