Does this 2k freesync monitor work with g-sync compatibility? i have win10, gtx 1080ti and latest nvidia drivers but the g-sync options don't populate

Yes, If you go to the Nvidia Control Panel you can enable GSync with these Monitors at 1440p. You need to use DisplayPort cables. Doesnt seem to work with HDMI so just a heads up. Have 2 of them with GSync enabled on a 3060TI

yes, i went ahead and read a comment to use a DP DisplayPort Cable, iVANKY DP Cable 6.6ft/2M, [4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz But resulting in a washed put Screen even after trying to set up all colors, in the monitor, and Nvidia control panel it did nothing, almost went as far as being disappointed was going to send the monitor back. BUT I thought I will just use the cable I was using for a 24" Dell monitor previously using, soon as I plugged it in looked great, and Ran 144Hz it an HDMI 2.0 why the DP 1.2 didn't work for me have no idea but will send the DP cable back for a refund, so one comment reads, the HDMI 2.0 is capped at 60fps maybe his GPU card, I'm running an EVGA 2070 8GB it's a decent card, also read one person with 2060 there running also @ 144Hz with an HDMI cable, truth is I haven't digged into what a DP cable what would the differences be, but will look into. But as for now its a very Nice Monitor and as for me I'm really happy, still have to set all the Brightness color a little better but for the moment looks great, can turn off the Monitors speakers, and use ur headphones, I tried to jack in my headset with the speakers on but didn't work, but who knows maybe you can use both without turning one-off, I just got my monitor today 6/27/2021, I recommend always buy or try buying when it comes to electronic Brand New, if not and find a good deal just make sure where, and whom ur buying from if used, and you suspect ur package looked like it may be a return, well send it back, cuz ur paid for a "NEW" item so expect to get a new item, well thas all folk and I will or may update this in 6 months to rewrite hows the Gaming monitor holding up.

So I'm seeing some say this isn't g-sync compatible and some say it is. Is there a setting or update you need to do to make it g-sync?

Ian i didn't see the G-sync option in Nvidias Control Panel, I did see a video tutorial on the best setting for a gaming monitor, that person did have the G-sync option in the Nvidia control panel I'm thinking since it's only a compatible Gaming monitor for G-sync, and not fully, guess thas why the G-sync option did not appear, but its like you said we need do nothing to enable for G-sync but you know makes some people scratch the heads, cuz want to be able to enable it physically, but I don't mind I still very happy with the monitor big difference from my previous DELL 24" monitor even that was an ok monitor at 1080P healed me very well until a drop or with Superglue or eeUvresin landed on bottom of the screen was minor but Bugged me, is when i bought this Acer, for $300 bucks its fair, Ian thank you for the vote of confidence on we need not do nothing about having to Enable G-Sync in Nvidias Control Panle i was one too the Scrach my Head Lol

For starters, the Acer brand has never let me down as far as quality and performance goes. I have a Acer CB242Y as my secondary monitor that has lasted for YEARS and still performs like new. I also tried their XFA 23.8” model that was great as well but I recently upgraded GPUs so I have 2K gaming capability now and decided to stay within the brand family and give this model a shot. Monitor shopping definitely seems to be a gamble, this model I received is excellent. Great color/ picture quality. Frames are fast and smooth. IPS light bleed at the edges exists (you’ll never get an IPS display that doesn’t have it) albeit, very minimally which is nice to see. The size is great for most gaming, like single player immersive story AND competitive PVPs like first / third person shooters. I have not experienced any visual anomalies like dead pixels or flickering. Though I will update my review should anything happen. I also like that this monitor has DP 1.4 connection, idk why it seems like all these gaming monitors are running 1.2. Console players beware, this is a HDMI 2.0 monitor so it may not provide you the latest and greatest performance for gaming through that port.

Era un poco escéptico de comprar este monitor porque no hay reseñas prácticamente en Mexico, pero me sorprendió muchísimo, la resolución es una diferencia que se nota demasiado no te vas a arrepentir y no vas a querer volver a 1080p, la fluidez de imagen, bueno son 240hz y la respuesta es 0,5ms muy buena y no se ve ghosting, cosa que pasa con paneles baratos como panel VA, 240hz es el estándar perfecto para eSports ya que 360 es mucho mas caro y no hay casi diferencia hasta que vas hasta 540hz 5000mxn por un monitor así de bueno es muy competitivo, pero claro tiene una desventaja, y donde bajaron el costo es en el sonido de los altavoces, el cual es el peor que he escuchado pero nada que ver con lo que es un monitor, pero claro creo que el 99% de la gente usa audífonos o altavoces externos como yo entonces lo recomendaría 100% si juegas shooters o eSports por la fluidez y la calidad, compra perfecta la verdad

Great value. As large as screens get, really. 180 hz refresh is apparently on the low end, but the graphics are great as it is.
