for medium sized bookcases they will work . They are sturdy and very easy to put together. Will do the job - but - they are ugly. The finish is very poor and looks cheap. Also there was a allot of scrapes and chips. Just about all of the edges are scraped down to bare wood. If you are counting on something to look good in your home or office then do not get these. If you want something purely functional then these are good for the price.Just be ready to put up with ugly.

This is an ok bookcase. It's cheap so you get what you pay for. I ordered 2 and both had cosmetic damage but still usable.

Super Easy to put together. My husband and I put them both together in 45 minutesExtremely sturdy.I HIGHLY recommend if you are in the market for a new bookcase, this is the type to get.
